Thanks a lot,. I have made repair my son wristwatch with this video,,,It was broken for 4 years and I dont know how to get off the Corona (tija) and with this video I made it,,,.Excelnt,,,
This video makes me appreciate the extra effort it takes to replace/repair a chronograph movement, there are twice as many hands and they are the super small variety! Also, it was interesting to see you using the clay to clean up the dial, that is a great tool. It might be interesting to make a video where you show/talk about watchmaking tools you use and explain what each one does.
Hi Maksim, and thank you for the comment and suggestion about showing the watchmaking tools. I will definitely consider to share it in one of my videos. Stay tuned!

Am disappointed in some of Triwa's new direction. Most guys dont want a watch with whimpy lovelights, unicorns and peace signs on it. Not knocking world peace...just saying
@@Helmspete7961 I found the watch you mentioned here, still doesn't look like the same movement as in my video.: www.ebay.com/itm/Triwa-Unisex-Watch-Wrist-Watch-LCST113-SC010215-Duke-Lansen-Chrono-Leather-/333610928420
@@ValentechTime i watched your video. The Triwa Lansen uses the Miyota 0S -11 according to internet. I believe the watch i have may use an older OS-10? Am not sure. I saw your video and your movement has a third dial. I assume there are different variations of the Miyota movements or possibly a substitute movement was used. You have more expertise on this than I have.
This small tool is the nylon end piece from the hand tool press. Here is an example of the whole set: www.esslinger.com/horotec-watch-tool-hand-press-single/
Takes a steady hand to tweezer those tiny subdial hands on there. ! Looks like you're using the Rodico clay. I had to use the clay on a Ronda 515 to put the hands back on. The hands would "Boing" out of my tweezers, but was able to put them on with the clay. Always interesting to see the correct procedure.
What differences are there between the miyota movement 0S10, 0S10-3, OS10-6, I have a Casio Edifice with OS10 movement, they are selling me an OS10-3 movement and they tell me that it is the same, I need advice before buying please, thank
The movements are the same, but the date indicators are different. The difference is that 0S10-3 has a date indicator that is correctly visible at the window on the dial at 3:00 o'clock position, while 0S10-6 has a date visible at 6:00 o'clock window. If your watch has a date window at 4:00 or 4:30 positions, then you need 0S10-3 as for 3:00 o'clock position.
I took a look at the 0S80 movement online (I do not have it at my hands) and I do not see the alarm dedicated stem. I think there should be a button at the 10:00 o'clock position, which controls the alarm. Otherwise, the main stem is at the same place as in 0S10/20 movements and can be removed the same way. Please let me know if you have more questions. And thanks for watching my video.
Hello, my movement Miyota (Citizen) 0s10 does not reset the twelve hour and minute time scale, does not return to zero according to the instructions. Please tell me how can I fix this I really need these settings I read the instructions and tried to fix everything according to it, but the mechanism is clearly faulty
The resetting chrono should work this way. Pull crown out to the second position, then set chrono seconds (upper subdial) and minutes (left subdial) to the 0 positions. Push crown back to the original position. If this doesn't work, you need to replace the movement. Hope this helps,. Regards!
@@stefanza5434 This movement is somehow complicated and not easy to repair. The whole movement replacement is a preferred way in my opinion. But if you want to try to disassemble, find the problem and repair, it could be done. You will need most probably to replace a defective part, so you will need to find a donor movement.
GC (Guess Collection) watches use all kind of movements, mostly by Seiko, sometimes by Ronda. In my experience the following movements were used: VX11B, VX9JE, VX10A, VX3J. VD57B and Ronda 706, 5020.B.
Hi there! I have questions, maybe you can help me. :) I removed the stem, exactly like you and it worked. Apperntly I have a other Miyota model (although the frame is labeld as 0S10) and my movment comes of with out the dial and the watch hands. They are now lose between the dial and the glass. Any idea how i can access them? Thanks in advance.
Hi, looks like your dial stuck inside the case and when you pulled the movement it went out by itself and so all hands were detached from their pivots. In addition, the dial feet got broken (before or during the removal). Look at the movement and find two holes where dial feet should be inserted. Probably they are inside those holes. I do not know what is watch model, but it could be that to remove the movement with dial together, you should disconnect the bezel with crystal from the top of the case. Some watches are constructed that way. Try to find out if this is the case.
thanks very much for posting this vid, its just what i needed to see to give me confidence to tackle changing my os10 in my Fuji chronograph.

Thanks ValenTech, good to see quartz repairs on YT. I've a 0s20 to replace and this will help greatly!
Thank you for the comment and good luck in your 0S20 replacement. The procedure is the same as for 0S10.
Just bought a Triwa Chrono with this movement. Accuracy is reasonably good so far

Thank you for taking the time to respond, now I have my doubts clarified, the last digit indicates the position of the date; 3, 4, or 6

How much is the total repair cost including part? My watchmaker is quoting $240 dollars to replace ISA 8154 Crono Alarma Quartz. Plus $35 Shipping
Please find my email address at ruclips.net/user/ValentechTimeabout and we can discuss your question via email. Thanks.
need to add oil lubrication?
The new movement came from a factory and it's ready for use. No lubrication is needed.

Don’t Citizen watch company own Miyota Watch movement company I think it’s there in-house movement which is also sold to other watch companies.
You are right, Miyota is a subsidiary of the Citizen Watch Co. and is responsible for making watch movements.
I service them
