- A tribute/music video I made a few years back to what I consider to be one of the most beautifully crafted films of all time. I used the theatrical version of the Promentory theme (which I had obtained through the Region 2 DVD's "Isolated Score" mode) instead of the watered-down version on the official soundtrack. Also, I had to flip the video around in order for it to stay on RUclips, so it'll look as if you're watching it through a mirror, unfortunately. :( Hope you all enjoy it.
My sister (and me) loved this film and the soundtrack. She dies with 46 years. Every time I hear this musik I must remember. She was such a lovely person and had so much emotions for suffering humans and animals. R.I.P. my one and only sister!
My dad and my mom died last year of Covid, and this film reminds me that time when i watched on cinema with my mom and my dad , I was 6 years old, I am also sad, I know what it feels to lose someone you love, but I am sure I will see my dad and my mom again (Job 14:14,15) it is written, I strongly believe that

People of the US and A had no idea how much this movie influenced us in Europe in the late 80's - early 90's!!!!
The Last of the Mohicans will forever be one of the greatest movies I've ever seen!
Movie is from 1992 so definitely influenced nobody anywhere in the 1980s at all, wasn't aware of the impact this film had globally!
It is 2022 and people still listening to the legendary music .. Will live forever ❤ ♥

This movie made me want to go to the NC mountains. I actually took the beauty of my home until I saw this movies. I'm ashamed to say, I only stay 1 hour away from the mountains in North Carolina. This movie made me want to go there and now,I do,as often as I can!

i think i was an Native American aka Indian in my past life. When i hear this song im in a trance,its more then just good music. It has soul,that Indian vibe.....i can listen in on it for hours,as well as other songs. And i LOVE Indian movies. This is one of my alltime favourite movies:o) I still cant stand to see the youngest sister drop herself off that cliff. Just wished she would hang on for hope,a few seconds more. The good guys were on theyr way;) But that is what makes it soo emotional

One of my favorite movies. This song will always give me goosebumps. Daniel Day-Lewis: awesome, nailed that role. Madeline Stowe: beautiful, when she was young and hadn't fawked her face up with plastic surgery. Wes Study: bad-ass.

Watched this with my son recently, who had not seen it before. I warned him at the start 'not all the good guys get out of this in one piece' - he was still shocked by the finish. One of the best endings to any film.

There's something about the music and the scenes that works so perfectly.
the entire movie is based upon the story of theese last 3 brothers,and as said before its the theme reminding me of it. I know about celtic music,and im over and done with this subject i didnt even start. Most still living Indians today are either Part British or "white American",very few fullbreeds left if anyone. So this movie might be more Indian then many are aware of. ANYWAY,i left a reply for a movie i enjoyed with this theme added,NOTHING else. Other then that,thx for the input anyway:o)

The music in this film is an old Irish song that is so old no one knows who wrote it. It's not Amerind, but Celtic. Weird combination, but it works here.

Why are we white people have done so much bad things....in the past....we were almost always in an aw to start a war....and for what....always thinking we are the superiour ones....but i swear till the day i die.. ..the indians were far more in harmony with mother nature then the white one will ever be.....

Celtic tribes, its a song called the Gael. Still performed by the Scottish Royal Dragoons, whom are part of the British army. But was made long before Britain became unified, apart from this film it has no native american routs, apart from maybe copied from European settlers.
From 4:10 until 6:45 was the most depressing and saddest part of the movie.
This piece, "The Gael" sends chills down my back every time I hear it. I love this piece but at the same time, it gives me goose bumps. Truly a remarkable piece of music and does this movie, especially the scene I pointed out justice.
