The passion is showing. Tim Sweeney has really made dislike him completely. I loved what he did and that he stood up to Apple, but it's the way he did it that was incredibly selfish, stubborn, and even hurtful to himself. The courts literally knocked him down because he had no excuse for his disfespectful actions against Apple's agreement with him.
All he had to do was ask for in app payments, and then when denied by Apple, sue, not disobey the guidlines, and Apple wouldn't have had a basis to remove Fortnite. Not only that but Apple gave him another chance that didn't even require him giving up the lawsuit, and he totally blew it due to ego and not giving a lick about his customers.
tim sweeney is just full of greed, the entire ios and mac playerbase hates him now
@@sowsow6677 I don't even think it's greed. It's just ego and stubbornness. He wants to be the guy to beat Apple, and he let his ego take control. If it was about greed, he wouldn't have knowingly destroyed a game platform that made his company 500 million a year. He wouldn't have spent 10s of millions fighting in court. He didn't have to get Fortnite banned to sue Apple, but he did for a publicity stunt that puts him in the headlines.
He's just stupid is what it is. And also has no care for his consumers when it comes to his consumers or ego.

Epic Games recently announced that Apple approved Epic Games Sweden AB developer account. Eoic Games intended to use that account to bring the Epic Games Store and Fortnite to iOS devices in Europe thanks to the Digital Markets Act (DMA). To Eoic Games surprise, Apple has terminated that account and now Epic Games cannot develop the Epic Games Store for iOS. This is a serious violation of the DMA and shows Apple has no intention of allowing true competition on iOS devices.

I’m so confused… can someone help me out here. Why would he not just take it and put it back because yea they’d be taking 27% but at least he’d be making more money than if it wasn’t on the AppStore because some people don’t have consoles and pcs to play with and only they’re phone or tablet to play on.
It would go against EVERYTHING he just spent the last few years fighting for. He’s currently suing Apple again over the 27% fee they’re charging (I won’t be covering this lawsuit)

Yes they can but it will most likely only be in countries from the European Union or devices manufactured there. Maybe someone else could host an IPA file for everyone to play it but i don’t know if that is possible due to apples nature of restricting things. We’ll see.
