Great content sir....i have a wee story for you which goes back to 1998,myself and two of the boys were drinking in a bar on manhattans west side,we struggled to find a bar that was showing the celtic v morton game but we found one,we were al sitting at the bar chatting to the bar man and watching the game it was a busy joint and a good atmosphere, then someone came in the dor and was standing right behind where we were sitting, the amience changed al of a sudden,i felt a bit uneasy so i turned around to see who was stnading behind me ,a tall italian handsome bastard with a long leather coat on,he said,"whats up" then ordered a beer, within 10 minutes he was gone,we asked the barman who that was and he told us it was Gotti Jnr...he was a fleeting regular at the bar apparantly..take care mate ,all the best
The toy box serial killer pictures really disturb me of his torture container thing for some reason. The surgical medical look of it just gives me chills

His podcasts are just the same stories over and over... 😂 I heard that Sammy getting praised on wiretaps and would get invited back into the mafia 😂 He's a crazy old man, his first podcasts were pretty decent, even though he would make out he was the hero in every situation, (He may have been because he wouldn't get to the underboss position without having something about him). Supposedly he's making a film or a scripted show as he calls it like the sopranos. Could be worth a watch if he gets the right people involved and not just yes men.
Agree, his early podcasts were mustard! The recent weekly 'shows' not so much. The early stuff was brilliant to get his take and more depth on some of the stories. Also, there is no way on earth he was calling fellow made-men 'bro'. Bro this, bro that 😂
@@GavinDuncan391 he used to call everyone bo back then.. must of been his dyslexic missing the r. A few folk have said he used to say it all the time back then.
I take a lot of stuff he says with a pinch of salt. He's basically the only living witness. People who could refute his stories are never gonna come forward (ie Gene Gotti, Johnny Carneglia and people like that).
@@TinPailTV Yeah, that's it, hard to dispute it. Was engrossed when he started with the stories a few years back, now there's not a lot of stuff of interest.
Hello mate,,was it you on Shaun Atwood telling the story about the jail pad lunatic drinking his piss, thinking it was tea, Mate I was lol at work listening to that
Cracking video pal, love the mafia stuff! Not sure I agree demoting De La Croche would have been a wise move. He was well respected by Gambino, I think it would have caused big problems for Castelanno if he’d made that move. All about opinions though 👍🏻
But he was Gambino's Underboss. Dellacroce outranked Castellano and then Castellano became Boss. Not demoting Dellacroce caused a fracture in the family, where Gotti's power was born. In my opinion, it's VERY likely that Gotti woulda never come to be if Neil had been demoted to soldier. Gotti gained influence through his relationship with Neil. It's likely that Gotti wpuld never have been promoted without Neil's backing. A soldier could never mount a challenge against a Boss.
@@TinPailTV Agree 100% on Neil's relationship with Gotti being the main driver in his rise through the ranks. But how would demoting an underboss to a soldier have gone down with the wider family? Castellano was already thought of as white collar gangster, probably didn't have the respect of the street guys that Neil would have had. Was there any precedent for an underboss being demoted to soldier after a new boss took over? On a slightly different topic - have you thought about doing an episode on Roy DeMeo (might need a series on him, never mind an episode :)
@GavinDuncan391 It may not have gone down well (and probably wouldn't have) but that's what a new Boss does. Chin Gigante demoted Tony Salerno when he took over as Boss (Chin was consigliere and Tony was the underboss). Any Boss with any street sense would do that IF the Underboss outranked them prior to them becoming Boss. Same with the capos. You want guys loyal to you, not the prior administration. If Castellano had made, say, Jimmy Failla the underboss when he took over he wouldn't have been killed in the street. I haven't thought about doing a video on Roy DeMeo but probably will now that you mentioned it 😀
@@TinPailTV Yeah, fair shout on the Gigante/Solerno situation, hadn't thought about that one to be honest. Roy DeMeo and his crew were a different breed I think, seemed to genuinely revel in killing and then chopping up the bodies. Have you seen much of the Gene Borrello guy who has come onto the scene over the last couple of years? Interesting story but i just cant take to the guy at all. Don't doubt he was a madman, but so far up his own backside it's unreal!
@GavinDuncan391 I'm not a fan of his...very arrogant and unremorseful. Don't watch much of him to be honest. Yeah, Roy was a lunatic. I think there was always gonna be one outcome for him. He was Castellano's main hitter and he got killed few years prior to Gotti moving on Paul. You sound like you know you're shit....I respect that.

@bazjr86 Aye I thought it was very in depth as opposed to the book about Gaspipe, which basically reads like newspaper stories that have been stitched together. Read Mob Star if you get the chance (by Jerry Capeci and Gene Mustain).
