      It is just what is given to you as a constant. Depends on your computer, system and etc.

    THIS is the best video ever. Thanks for giving giving the idea about how to implement it in a programming language.There are lots and lots of videos on theoretical approaches but this is something unique. We are getting to know how the algorithms work in real time environment.
    YES THIS IS REALLY COOL !!

    You are give best details. But one thing that anyone will speak these lines then it make a extra effect and make a extra good video.
    Thanks for their video.

    Great explanation but how will safety algorithm detect unsafe state? Will it keep checking the condition forever? And will it cause haulting problem?

      At 1:04, 10 5 7 are the "Total Resources". Total Resources is something known to us beforehand.

    Why there are three tables for max, allocation, and need ?. Is this example for three kind of resources like resource a, b, And c like three columns for each resource ?. I thought it would be easier to apply the example on only one table like column for max, alloc, and need so
    A -B = C ?.

    How total resource is calculated?

    • @nevillechim173
      @nevillechim173 6 лет назад +3

      In the bankers algorithm you are given the max a process can request(Max), the current allocation(Allocation) and the resources available in the system(Total resource). So basically total resource should be given/known, you don't calculate it.

    • @suvodeepsaha6043

      no, need is always positive
