    There are brands of ramen from South Asia meant to be crushed up raw with seasoning as a snack, you should try them 😊

    Great video, beautiful setting. It’s always interesting to see different peoples routines and tips for packing/food. I recently started switching to using a bear canister (I live and play in grizzly country). So I’ve recently had to change how I organize my food. Loved the vid!

    Love that trail! I did a couple watercolours on trail there at Sunset Pass Lookout and looking over towards Mt Amery. Such great scenery and the rock formations are super fun to sketch.

    I'm OCD, and as part of my self therapy I just throw all my food in one bag. I used to do the Individual zip locks for every meal, but it got so tedious I just said screw it....

    • @zakafx
      @zakafx Год назад +1

      i usually end up with dehydated meals, i divide them into 2 portions with ziplocks with a written amount of water required. all of it goes into a dry bag and compresses down fairly well.

      I pack my breakfasts and lunches like that just to make it less hassle when i stop to eat. i dont have to pull out numerous things, just one little bag and everything's right there

      @Austin Downing no...but am. Started breaking myself of bad habits formed by OCD. The more of a slob I am...the better I figure im doing...if that makes any sense.

    My father used to take dried prunes for energy, on the trail. He would give me a couple and say "these are really good for energy." I liked them. So. Went on a multi day backpacking trip with friends, and not knowing that prunes aren't "just for energy" I ate the whole bag at once. This had consequences.
