I got one of these guitars and love it enormously good, once you play on them you just can't go back to a regular guitar. Easy to play with a great sound, I have he FG-TA, natural colour. I love to fingerpicking a lot on it.
Great video, thanks for making it in stereo, that's exactly what all other demos are missing, as one wonders how the effects come out in real life. The point of this guitar is the personal experience of playing it and not precisely how it sounds in a single mic for a recording. It would be amazing if you could do a similar demo with a MID/SIDE miking technique too. :-)
Just bought a used one for my daughter at the big guitar retailer. Is there a power light in the knob? Looks like there might be, but nothing lights up.
Hi Tom..i just bought the black fg ta transacoustic guitar. The x2 AA batteries are easy to install into the jack pin/battery compartment. It press a small catch it pops open. Insert batteries and close. Real easy!
Its decent life expectancy. Rechargeable batteries would be the best choice. But remember to turn if off or would only get a days use. There is no automatic turn off.
i don´t think so ... that action went high on my ll ta sunburst.. and got to shave the plasticall saddle ( don´t worry cause wawaste like bone) to finally get the height i desired... directly out of the box , in open notes plays very good but when working on variable chords it feel s incomodity
If you try one you might think differently. Have you tried one? I did and I loved it and put one on Lay away . The thing is amazing and everyone i know who tried one loved them . Just sayin

just bought one today. All I was doing was finger picking it at the store. Couldn't put the FG down. I walked out with it.
@@tbviaemail Goos choice, you won't regret it, I use ELIXIR light strings on mine and love it.
@@larrykenney7091how is the guitar if you use it for only strumming?
I know this guitar, I have it in the Music Store I'm working in. Very interesting guitar, easy to play... Anyway, a Yamaha !!!
Nice reverbs.
Nice finish on the fg-ta

Can you explain when and which to use between room and hall reverb? Thank u
room would be say like in a bathroom with good acoustics Hall is more pronounced reverb like in a concert hall
FGTA or FGX3 what sounds better acoustically?
Thank You for review!!!

I saw a video it says inside the body of the guitar there is a light but that was for the cg ta not sure about this model
Is the guitar a bit thin sounding ... or is the XLII a bit thin and toppy?!
Wanna ask on the turn on/off button. Does it give any indicators when it’s turned on? For example, any green light?
No it does not, but you will hear the sound difference when on.
Green LED light inside guitar viewed from sound hole
I am curious about the battery life and access to the battery compartment (?).
Tom Hamby battery compartment is by the rear strap button. Easy access. 2 AA

You can really hear the feedback start when you turned up the reverb!
Nice until he strums then to much break up sounds crackling
So it started as a guy and now it’s a girl?? Or the other way round?
Why don't you fuck off, you haven't ever tried playing acoustic guitar live have you? Stop standing infront of the mirror!
you sure told me
twanger - I didn't get this comment at all. Why the girl/boy reference?

@@ArborPointeMusic Oohhh... I get it now. Thanks! :-)
It's a bit of a novelty that will soon wear off, I'm sure

I've had mine for a year and it is still a joy to play. Sounds really, really good. The reverb is outstanding, don't use chorus much.
