Hey man. I'm a tournament player and enjoy hearing your thought process. But im so rusty at cash by now it keeps me up to date on strategy there too. So long story short 😀 I like both...
Truck driver here and I've run that 75 run between Naples and the Miami area a LOT...I've never been asked to do a check thru there, let ALONE every 20 miles...and to say nothing of wrestling gators...never even heard of that...sorry to call ya out, Lex but ya know LOL
Commercial vehicle drivers are exempt from having to do the gator wrestling checkpoint. That would be too much of logistic business killer given how fat and out of shape a lot of truckers are.
@@mumblesbadly7708 oh THAT'S good! Cuz to be honest, that gator doesn't have a SNOWBALL'S CHANCE IN HELL against ME! Not on land anyway!! I ain't scared of him on land!!

I can confirm Lex's report regarding Alligator Alley. I was born and raised in Seminole and my family traveled AA frequently. I remember Mom constantly bitching about having to get out and wrestle those slimy smelly things while Dad waited in the station wagon.
Yeah, that alligator wrestling checkpoint: Gotta admit… The one time I tried to drive across from the East coast to the Gulf coast on Alligator Alley, I failed the wrestling challenge and had to turn back towards the East coast and take the Florida Turnpike and I-4 to get over the Gulf side.
I love your vids, keep up the grind. With me, it often comes down to one hand deciding whether I have a winning or losing session. Even with your history with the other player, and a good table image, I think I would have folded when the K came out on the turn or at least checked to see where you were. If he checks behind you get a free river, if he bets, just fold. At the turn, he could also have a set of 7s or 3s, as well as Ax or Kx holdings. I know, easy for me to say when I'm not sitting at the table, just think it would have been a better play.
I always travel alligator alley for school. I can vouch that you do have to wrestle alligators. Afterwards you can stop at the Miccosukee service plaza for a Dunkin
timed drop game. each player individually or one player usually pays. floor will come to verify amount, writes time and amount on a gaming slip, and then it is dropped at that point. it does not work like traditional cash games
Likely tell in the q2 hand is from single chip bet of $100, then $500. Screams bluff. Some pros suggest even amounts like that (even if multiple chips) increase suspicion of bluffing. Hope you bank on that. Appreciate your journey and content.
Whatever the outcome is, the editing is insane this time, really love those fast cuts, a little slower would be nice, like finishing the sentence and then cutting off, but really enjoyed this episode
Well if you're bluffing boards like that, thats why. It was a terrible spot to choose. Especially with the 7 pairing on the river. You should pretty much never bluff there. Thats why Lex said he had no clue what he was doing there because the bluff made no sense.
How you can think that you are good with qj? When villain jams when the board pair, you block some flush draw…my ask is (I want to understand a pro tp) you think there are bluffs in his range in that spot? Please bear in mind that I see the vlog so I don’t have all the infos you might have capture during the game. Gg!
I think your sizing on the river hurt you on that last hand. I know you said it’s a big bet for the game, but you have to think what Mike A has been playing. A half pot bet of $800 is nothing. After a pot dive bet on the turn, I think your only option there is all in…
Not really. Lex will basically never have A7, all Ax hands not Ak are getting a great price to call for a chop. If by some miracle has one of the two combos of A7ss he bets way bigger (hopefully). Betting that River only folds out complete air… if there’s a positive- at least it was only 1/2 pot bet
Hi Lex. I feel like you’re maybe getting impatient preflop and getting yourself into trouble. QJ off raising an early position raise? That’s just a fold. You lose $900 on that hand. Raising a limp with Q2 suited? You triple barrel punt that one off. One c bet 2/3 pot and give up if called but you shouldn’t have even been in the pot with that hand. That’s a fold. You lost another $575 roughly there. Just my humble opinion. Love the vlog.
I think it’s cool you got to handle gators 🐊 I did wildlife shows when I was (much) younger at a private park at the Okefenokee Swamp in South Georgia. I raised a black bear, did shows with my 12 foot gators and ‘wrestled’ my smaller ones. As always, love the videos brother! 💜
That's the first time anyone has tried to run an alligator bluff on me. But until you balance your range with some alligator-destroying moves, I gotta call.
Also, strange to expect him to give you credit for playing like you did 3 years ago when you've been streaming your games for 2 years at least... PUNTERRIFIC
$875 into a $1,540 pot isn't that big of a bet (57% of pot)... you prob needed to either bet small such as $250 to pretend as "value"... or $2,500+/all-in.
I'm not sure your logic is sound when you say the river Q reduces his chance of having quad Q when it's literally the only card in the deck that makes it possible.. Little bit of Poker Gibberish syndrome
In my experience the guys who are mixing it up a lot and bluffing frequently are going to call more often as they assume everyone else is also bluffing. Better to try to make those plays against tighter players.
That's just outrageous you can't film the alligator wrestling! We had the same type of road in Australia, only with saltwater crocodiles which are a lot bigger and meaner, and the champion wrestler of that stretch was a guy called Steve Irwin. They did allow filming though so you can see him all over the internet wrestling and capturing big crocs to this day. Unfortunately Steve Irwin died when a stingray stabbed him in the heart . . . we're still looking for his replacement - could have been you!

Suspicious line last hand. Lot of check backs on that turn with all sorts of holdings. You totally polarize your hand, easy call with an A. Only a few holdings would play this 3 streets. You tried super hard to justify your play. Definitely an expensive unnecessary punt.
@@lexopoker Love the vids, but I agree with Zeke here (assuming we're talking about the 99 hand), you only hit that 1-outer if you know your opponent has K6, otherwise, the 4th 9 is just gravy
