I love these videos because I always watch them in my man cave while working on my bikes. I use Restrap bags but they aren't easy to get because they're in such high demand. I just can't do minimalist cycling because once you leave home and hit the trails nothing ever seems to go as planned so I bring the kitchen sink. My average setup weighs 36.29kg
I've transferred from lightweight camping to bike packing mtb , so essentially use all my existing camping gear. Last time all in about 12 to 14 kg of pack weight including variable water and food . 🤣 if I can get below 10kg all in that will be great for me 🤪👍, done 3 rides now and realised bikepacking is different to hiking 🙂
Great video, thanks! I find most video bikepackers take way more stuff than is absolutely necessary. I do live in Spain, so of course that helps for minimal clothing but even so, I'm there for the adventure and not for home from home comforts! Cheers
Great video, thanks for sharing. Love the minimalist approach, how often have we all over packed! As long as you can shelter from the rain and have just enough protection from the cold! I normally take a stove, but nearly always end up stopping at a shop... Why am I doing both🤦
2:19 - I can't believe a guy points his bum and trumps, but doesn't point his bum in the vicinity of the guy who has conveniently lowered his head to bum height. Does anyone know if a bigger dry bag works with the Race Saddle Bag OK? The standard 7L is a smidgen smaller than I was thinking of.
Hi Adrian, the Race Range isn't compatible with any larger dry bags unfortunately, as the dry bags and holsters are made to fit each other. We'll also pass on your feedback about Carls farting game. We're sure he'll take the opportunity in future :P
We have updated the design very recently to remove the top flap on the bag, after hearing customer feedback. This is part of some updates we have set out for our Race Range going forwards, which we are working on at the moment. :)

Very minimalistic! Always fun to watch other’s set up, depends on the type of ride you like and lots of personal preferences. Cheers!

👍thanks for sharing the setup! Cheers
Really useful video. I'd love to know what the hooded jacket was at the start. Not the down jacket as I see this is listed in the notes.
Thank you 😀👍
Quick question, what's the size of your frame? Trying to figure out if the Race Frame bag would fit my bike. Thanks and nice video!
This is a 56cm frame :)
No tent or tarp?? No cook set?? How many days are you planning on? Sounds totally boring to be honest
Do you also use a backpack?
What waterproof was that please?

How come do you not have the waterproof flap on the top tube bag?

Cheers, I have the flap on the top tube bag and it's abit faffy and comes loose pretty easily; I'll wait to buy the next improvement!
For me a toothbrush and toothpaste always belong to the bare essentials.
We got pump, we need a bed that we can pump
Are you riding for fun or as a punishment? Because your setup is absurd for any kind of enjoyable experience.
Good video but try and make it a bit more snappy.
