The one thing I never knew was Paramount releasing it.... Everyone always associates Wonka with Warner Bros. (And still remains true to this day) when the film came out through TV and Home Video sales.

And another thing about the 1971 film is that back in 2017 after Tim Burton's version from 2005 was released Warner Brothers Animation made a 78 minute animated version of the movie by adding the world famous cat and mouse Tom and Jerry. However that version was hated by several critics and fans of the original 1971 film and called it an insult to the original. It was dedicated to Gene Wilder himself who passed away in 2017.
