Just by the look on you two's face I can tell that you guys really love each other. It reminds me of my parents when I was in my teens and the way my parents looked at each other. I lived in Tucson from 1988 to 1992 and went to the Art Center of Tucson and worked at St. Phillips in the Hills Church. I was chosen out of 20 students to do the set designs and artwork for the movie Young Guns II. Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse was a go to for me. On my birthday I ate the whole steak meal and they rang a cowbell over my head! Your story brings back a lot of memories. Did you noth go to Pima County Community College?

What a sweet story. You aren't weird at all, my husband and I were always the same way, we wanted to spend time together. We met on a blind date. We have been together ever since 48 years in October. We do have different interests but we have some that are the same. We raised 4 kids, and loved all of it. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey, I went to Pinnacle Peak in 1972 with my parents when I was a boy. I remember the ties on the ceiling and those incredibly tasty steaks. Nice memories for me and for you guys there

Really cool to hear your story! I have to say, it's such a small world because there are so many similarities with my wife and I. I totally feel like we are kindred spirits! We also met in Tucson (we both attended the UofA). She was from LA and I was from Phoenix. My roommate knew her and he and I bumped into her after the freshman convocation. She invited us back to her dorm for pizza and then she and I started hanging out. I think it was only a week or two after that, she basically moved into my dorm and we were together forever! This was in 1998 and then we got married in 2003 (also in October!). I went to the business school at UofA. Tucson is such a fun place. We were there until 2004. It's crazy, I don't think we ever made it to Pinnacle Peak Steakhouse! Did you guys ever go to Caruso's over on Fourth Ave? That was our favorite place. We went there the night I proposed. I gotta say - my wife and I are the same exact way as far as spending time together! We are together all the time and perfectly happy with it. I totally wish we could have our own business and work together. Though, for now, she is a stay at home mom and I work from home, so we're together most of the time anyway. Anyway, I'm rambling... 🤣Such a fun story! Y'all are awesome.
Oh my gosh, no way! So crazy how similar our stories are 😄 Did you ever go golfing at Golf in Stuff? The steakhouse was literally next to it. And yes definitely ate at caruso's a few times. I wonder if you and Chris had any of the same classes since you were at the UofA same year. If only we could go back in time, that would be a trip!
@@HollywoodHaunter Yes! How could I forget about Golf N Stuff. So many good times there (and one bad due to me standing in the wrong place when Lori was golfing and got smacked right in the worst possible place 😬). I also forgot about Magic Carpet Golf. That place was awesome! Tucson is a fun town - we definitely miss it sometimes. Hoping to stop there on a trip to see my mom in Phoenix in March. Old Tucson is open again, which I am so happy about! I was worried it might be gone forever. Definitely going to go there on the trip and hopefully hit up Golf N Stuff and Pinnacle Peak. My boys would have a blast I'm sure.

I think it is also so special that you guys recorded this because one day in the future Harrison can watch all this and see how much you guys love each other, because growing up we sometimes don't clearly see what's right in front of us... :D

When you're not with them you should be thinking about them. I'm just curious when is your anniversary in Oct. And are you guys thinking of having more children? Can you tell me where you got the taller ghost in the background (both arms out / holding the pumpkin)? We had one growing up and I have always told my mom I wanted it if she ever went to get rid of it. Recently she told me that she pulled out her Halloween stuff and it had broke. We both are devastated. I would love to replace it for her. :) (I know Gina collects old holiday decor so I know I might be out of luck, but it can't hurt to ask. Right?
