I love your tutorials. I have been looking for Adobe Acrobat PDF online. Do you have a link for the PC user? This is strictly for personal use. Is there a charge? TIA for any info you can provide.
@@marshafleming4165 Thank you for watching! Adobe Acrobat does charge even for personal use. However, you can try it first for free to see if it is a good fit for your needs. You can find it at www.adobe.com/.
I want to thank you so much for this video ! I had an extremely large file this morning I had to break down into smaller documents and wasn't sure how and this was exactly what I used to get it done. It works! Kudos to you.
I would like to know how to make vertical text touch each other. Like the word " ENJOY " typed vertically where the bottom of the E to touch the top of the N and so forth, thanks for the help
Thank you for watching! Acrobat's text formatting capabilities are rather limited. So, the easiest way to accomplish your task is likely to type each letter in an individual text box and then aligning the text boxes as desired. I wish you all the best with your PDF project!
Wonderful. One question, when you split a document do your links still work? For example, if you have a link on page one that takes you to a reference on page 10 and you split the document as you did into 5 documents, will the link still go to page 10 in the 5th document?
Great question! When you create internal links they are only for that PDF. So, you will have to recreate external links after creating the separate PDFs. Thank you for watching!
If I have a 100 page PDF and I want to split it into 2 files, first document is made from pages 1-60, second is 61-100, how do I use the "Split" function to accomplish this? Thanks!
Good question! If you select Organize Pages > Split and then enter 60 into the Spit pop-out menu, the first split PDF should have pages 1-60 and the second should have 61-100. Your original PDF should remain intact. Thank you for watching!
@@erinwrightwriting Thanks for the reply! I tried this and then it split it every 2 pages, so I put "60" in both the top and bottom level of the 2 Split menu bars and then it worked! Thanks for getting me on this path!
I need help with not enough room in an already typed contract. There is not enough room to fit all my words and a plus sign appears and hides what I typed. How do I make fit and show without the plus sign? Ty
Thank you for watching! The content in Acrobat doesn't move automatically to accommodate additional content, so it's necessary to move the individual text boxes. I have an older tutorial showing how to work with text in text boxes. That tutorial is for the older interface, but you may still find it helpful. I wish you all the best with your PDF project!
All the steps shown here are listed with images on my website at erinwrightwriting.com/split-pdfs-in-adobe-acrobat/. Thank you for watching!
