My tricks to avoiding pain while playing games similar to this is to soak my arm in hot water (just under as hot as I can handle) and I then keep an ice cold slush pack to use as a wrist pad while playing. That helps me a lot because of my Carpol Tunnel. Brings my gaming endurance from about 5ish minutes of intense gaming to over 4 hours before I really feel much. Also keeping your room cool if not cold then you will feel the pain less. (This is just my own experience and this may not work for anybody but me but it is worth mentioning.
