After so many years, I have finally come around to building Strikers after pulling Diabellstar and 2x Wanted’s from my case of AGOV. I got lucky, and just bought another copy of Diabellstar and the third copy of Wanted. The synergy that Dibell has with Strikers is pretty on point and makes the deck even better. To be able to use Diabellstar’s effect to fuel the grave with spells before summoning herself is insane. Not to mention Wanted… I may be late, but this was one hell of a guide and wish I could have built Sky Striker sooner!
1:21:52 there actually is at least one card that comes in the same set as azalea, she can special summon itself from hand by discarding a spell,on the field you can give her to your opponent by banishing a spell from the Gy then you specal a ss from the Gy. And if that card is destroyed by battle ,I believe, it adds back 1 banished ss spell

Since we have linkage going into zeke to banish pop with zeke or multi area get the roze or ray going into Knightmare to send a other one having linkage in hand this is game even if you don’t do 8k damage since you got the full linkage setup with clearing . You’re opp will have to give you the game most likely. This came up last time I played some people and also online.Feels good having this ability in striker. Throwing a linkage after Access to go for game also is dope.
53:42 Just a tip, in the case of Droplet vs. The Happy Purrely matchup. If you wait until the Damage Step to use Droplet, the attack will stop and they wont get a replay. They wont be able to make a Zeus since it never made it to damage calc.
If you didn't know already, we are actually getting 2 main deck monsters that can add a banished spell to hand. They are 2 of the sages from the sky striker manga that release alongside azalea.
Hey I love this video. I just won my first tournament with sky striker last week. I just wanted to ask: I played a special package. I played spellbook sky striker. 2 of blue boy, 3 spellbook of secret and 3 of secret 1 spellbook of judgement. So the selene package is most of the time alive. I want you honest thougt of it. The goal is draw 2 and getting spells into the grave. Would be amazing if you read and answer my comment Keep up this good content please!
The best use of H.A.M.P. is probably as a graveyard dump to trigger your own Bystials on to get in more damage to a board during the Battle Phase. The second best use of it is crashing it with the things to pop certain annoying cards, something regular Kaijus don't do. If you're using it as a replacement for Kaijus, it's not going to work out vs. negate boards, wherin you can summon Kaijus before the opppnent does anything, but this requires a monster on the field that they can try to remove. You can usually get rid of a Towers annoyance or I:P Avramax just fine with it though, which is enough for me to consider it as an optional 1 of. I still prefer Raidian for more "standard" Kaiju purposes as one that works for an Allure of Darkness Target and Dharc/Azalea Link material when necessary, that that's not searchable without Small World or on a turn delay after using or dumping an IKS. Gameciel doesn't do enough damage when stolen back, and Lava Golem and Sphere Mode can be awkward to work with at times. Also, while H.A.M.P. CAN tribute a monster on your side instead of the opponent's, you can't use the Hornet Drones token for H.A M.P.'s tribute since that token can't be tributed. And there's not many instances besides Roze being special'd out where being able to tribute it to your side actually matters, so that's technically another point against it. It's a level 8 for Rank 8 Turbo shenanigans or going into stuff like the BLS Link monster though, so there's that. It's an interesting card, definitely not something you want to completely replace Kaijus with if you're using them to soften up disruption boards.
@@cruderschmidt I'd prefer playing more copies of Roze instead. This card still loses to the same things as Roze, but it doesn't synergize as well with Engage/Area Zero/RotA/Raye. Also, it loses to Imperm/Veiler type of effects as you need its effect to resolve to go into said Links. Like Roze, it's a soft brick, and One for One requires a send of a monster, which you don't always have and/or would prefer to hold a hand trap (-1 isn't the worst thing, but it's still a -1 that opens you up to Ash). Since One for One is a send for cost effect, you can't send cards under Dimensional Shifter and Kashtira Arise-Heart. The pros of saving your normal summon doesn't really outweigh the inherent brickiness of Formud Skipper and One for One IMO. Neat tech, but I think Area Zero #2 or Roze #2-3 is better. I guess you can summon Veiler/Droll with it, so it does have some really tiny synergy with Selene.
I'm confused - Linkage can ONLY send from the EMZ right? Because it can't activate if anything is in the MMZ? I suppose in theory you could drop something in the MMZ later in the chain, but then without something in the EMZ the initial activation would not have been legal anyway

I struggled recently vs kash because of birth, I like your „tech“ choice book of eclipse for that reason. BUT let’s say I got book of eclipse, maybe even 3 spells in gy and with Hayate I will get engage. I don’t see a way to clear the board to don’t die in the next turn… Am I missing some insane play to clear there shit ?
Hard drawing backrow removal is the only way to out birth in regular striker builds besides afterburners' bonus effect, which ofc the kash player will never let you get with birth up Ig you could play phoenix in the extra though and out birth that way, but then you still need like linkage or drones to go back into an ace afterwards so it could still be awkward
I am aware of that, but like I said book of eclipse is a out for arise and birth. That’s why I am highly interested, but I need to out the shit that’s booked… And that’s difficult

@@CapitainNobody It's not ideal, but you could try like bumping into the facedown with Hayate, then activating either Widow Anchor/Change of Heart/Talent and summon Zeus main phase 2. Anchor gets to resolve before the GY banish triggers. If you nab Arise-Heart (un-negated) and they don't have anymore monsters on their board, consider playing multiple spells into the Arise-Heart so that Arise-Heart triggers and you stack up a large Arise-Heart. Then summon Zeus with 4-6 materials on it. The other way is to probably try to out their monsters with Lightning Storm/Burner then holding the Book of Eclipse for their turn. Birth doesn't do the GY banish unless they have face-up Kash monsters, so if they end on a minimal board, that's another way around it.
Thrust does work for sky striker, as it is a way to search engage without having to end your turn and hope you get another. And the only runick card I've ever seen used in sky striker is allure. The win conditions of the 2 archetypes seem to conflict to me.

I've dismantled striker twice in master duel, first after I finished it, twice after linkage came out but I never pulled 3 and I never wanted to invest the UR to finish it. Both times I came to regret it, here's to there being a third.
@ggygo2559 hey I don't think that the linkage chain anchor works bc linkage requires no monster in the mmz to resolve. it would be CL1 linkage, CL2 anchor, anchor takes monster and linkage would try to resolve but can't. Correct me if I'm wrong.
So I'm guessing you're looking to clear all the monsters after using book of eclipse because you of course don't want the opponent drawing cards, has striker got enough gas to consistently clear up after you using eclipse?

I would say, mirror post linkage, thrust, talents became quite toxic. you can't pass on nothing, cuz linkage just otk. If opp uses burners, reviving Raye plays into thrust/talents real hard
That's why you want to have an Eagle Booster at the ready when you can. Linkage can help, but if you go into Kagari during the main phase, you're going to eat a Talents/Thrust, and Talents to take doesn't target for whatever reason. Booster also keeps you from being left entirely helpless vs. LS/Duster wiping your backrow.
I don’t get why multirole on raye works since multirole has to target for cost and in order for the effect to resolve the targeted card has to stay on the field until the point of resolution. It works that way with cards like unizombie or the virtual world cards so I don’t get why multirole should be an exception.
I'm surprise you never touched on Sky striker Orcust or is that just extreme copium. Just build Crusadia Sky Striker, I use top locals with it all the time before engage got banned hopefully i do well with it again
Why don't we play pot of avarice? I feel like this card is broken is sky striker. You get all your extra deck back and are able to draw 2? Is it because it's to slow, not reliable?

All 3 of the new Sages (which are always treated as Sky Striker cards) add a banished Sky Striker when they are destroyed by battle or card effect.

Sending engage instead of getting it with Shizuku can definitely be incorrect. The punish isn't worth it.

What do we do if you don't have Triple Tactics Thrust, getting three of them is like minimum 150 so not super easy to get

Yeah sending engage to Gy Bad. In général I do that if i have a Bad hand and 3 spell in GY

The multi roll thing doesn’t work. Plenty of judges has said that it must send the card.

That effect has the also conjunction between the send and the no response portion. Meaning A is not necessary for B to resolve normally.
