- We get back in hayfield and finish baling the hay we cut over the holiday weekend. We have to race the rain to get done, but we are also able to get it all hauled home and put up in the barn. Please remember to like and subscribe! Thanks for watching, eat beef, and God bless!

I’m sorry, I couldn’t help myself from laughing when those bales kept rolling away 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂Hopefully they weren’t to hard to get picked up.
I hope everyone gets to share a laugh with/at us occasionally in these videos. We were able to recover all of them. Thanks for watching!
Lol at the rolling bales!
Yeah, we didn’t plan the unloading as well as we should have!
Thanks 😊
Can only imagine the time it would take to move over 500 bales 15 miles ? We use 4 Step-decks and 2 Dualis with 2 40ft gooseneck flat beds.... 1 tractor in the field loading, 2 drivers, 2 tractors at sheds stacking......
Those pickled sunflower seeds are great,
They are addictive!
Did you hear me screaming for those bales of hay to STOP!?! 🤣
I was screaming on the inside!
Great job Mrs!
Yes! Having a helper is invaluable when moving equipment.
What size building is that your stacking bales in? New subscriber nice videos
40’x60’. Glad to have you here!
How wuz the fence after the run aways 🤣
Not too bad! Leaned it over a little, but not completely down.
Hey would it be better stacking hay up off the ground or do you not need that where you are?
That may be a little beneficial, but these stay very dry stacked on the ground. We’ve only used the barn one previous year, but the hay was just about perfect. Good question
@@HurricaneCreekFarms thanks hope you get all you need to feed your animals this year 🤞
Is that cover edge net wrap you are using? My dealer says the 450e will only use edge to edge net wrap.
Yes. I believe we are using 51” wrap. I haven’t had to replace a roll yet, but I’m 99% sure of that.
@@HurricaneCreekFarms okey thanks for the info.
Hey brother I no this is off topic as to the video but it’s the only way I have of communication with you , I have a opertunity to buy a bramaha bull and the ideal of producing f1 brangus replacement heifers is something I like just wondering if you had any problems selling your heavy bramaha influence steers when y’all had your bramaha bull
Yes, that is the biggest problem we had. Those F1 steers will bring significantly less money at the sale barn versus straight black or black baldy steers. We started feeding out some of ours, but we still had more than we could do that with. Basically, it comes down to whether or not the added value of the heifers offsets the discount you take on the steers. That’s one reason we moved to the Brangus bulls.
What size Kubota is that and how does it handle the new hay equipment?
M135GX (135 hp). It is more than enough for this equipment. Our old tractor (kubota 9960; 100 hp) would even be plenty big enough for this equipment. The baler is one of the smaller ones that John Deere makes.
I was working all weekend with a JD M5100 and liked it but like you I will be buying orange or red.
@@barm9687 that’s a solid tractor. My dad and uncle have one that I have run a good bit. The green ones tend to be out of my budget, though!
@@HurricaneCreekFarms same here.
