My bad- I had a feeling that I'd probably not quite followed the video PRECISELY- so I tried again, today, and this time it worked. Not sure what was wrong yesterday, but it's possible I'd inadvertently left a tiny gap somewhere by being a little too hasty. SolidWorks may not be very forgiving (nor should it be)- though sometimes the error it reports can be perhaps a little misleading.
Mine came out very nicely- I had to change that last fillet value just a bit for it to work on mine, but overall, it's a success! Thanks once again for another fascinating solid model! :)

Aw DAMN! Thought this was going to be an easy one, but SW ver 2015 is not able to use a spiral for Direction 2 of that 1st boundary surface. Oh, well. At least I know that when Dassault upgrades it's Solidworks to newer versions, it doesn't just add little additional capabilities to justify generating new sales- it also improves existing functions, as well.

    • @EasyCADSolutions

It's easy, Just make a blade as shown in the video and Use the Flatten Tool. It will give you a flat sheet like portion that can be used for further reference for sheet cutting in order to make the turbine blades
This technique is widely used in the welding process of car chasis pipes
