Oh yay! Thanks for the shout out for Moms with Mouse Ears! :) This was a great video!! Totally agree with getting some pics or video from their perspective, we did that on the last trip and it was precious!! Can't wait for your learning series too!!
I'm so glad to hear that! I have an entire Disney playlist in case you're interested: ruclips.net/video/O78zCENUYr0/видео.html Thanks so much for watching!
i'm watching this to prepare for my disney trip. & i'm not alone with the phobia. hotel rooms are the nastiest. i wipe EVERYTHING down. my mom thinks im crazy but i refuse to get sick on vacation.
We love that someone else thinks about some of the things you mention. Just to add to the flash light in the room; we bought a cheap Disney night light at the dollar store and plugged it in for our girls. They loved it and that we didn't have to worry about banged knees in the middle of the night. :) Thanks for all your videos.
Great tips!! To go along with the personal fan, we bring a travel sized pump spray bottle and fill it up at the water fountain. It saved us while waiting in line at Splash Mountain on a 90° day with 4 young boys:)
This was AWESOME! Thank you so much! I also clean EVERYTHING! I have 3 little kids, 1 who constantly gets sick, and to me it's not overkill at all! I love the tide in a squeeze bottle! What exactly do you pack for detergent? Just a bottle in a plastic bag in your suitcase? thanks so much!!
Leah Tackles Great! I'm glad you found it helpful. Do you mean what do I pack for dish detergent? I just fill a plastic travel bottle with enough dish detergent to last for a little over a week. I usually end up taking too much but it's better than not having enough. :)
You have some great ideas. I haven't thought about Lysol spray or Clorox wipes and wiping out the tub. Glad I watched your video. We go infrequently so I tend to forget what we need. Doug Weaver
+Brianna Rebelo Thanks! I'm so glad you found it helpful even though you don't have kids because that was my intention. :) Thanks so much for watching!
omgosh I thought I was alone in my "sanitation vacation". lol good to know I'm not alone and I picked up a new tip...the plastic baggie on the remote. genius! I usually use the clorox wipes on it but the baggie is so much easier. great tips. someone also mentioned bringing dollar tree type soap holders, that way you don't have to bring liquid bath soap and you don't get the gloppy mess when you use their bar soap. thanks for your tips. awesome.
Bringing a flashlight is a good idea. You should also bring containers to hold leftovers from your table service meals and reheat them in the resort food court. In addition to using quarters in the coin press machines, you can also use them for the lockers located just outside of Epcot. You can put your sweaters or light jackets in them if you don't need them, and they only cost $1.00 as opposed to the $8.00 lockers inside Epcot.
Clorox wipes and lyesol are the bestest travel companions EVER...we always take them, along with our own pillows and a couple blankets. I love the laundry soap idea..and the remote in baggy. I usually clorox wipe it, but that is so much better. I will definitely be incorporating both of these into our packing and travel. Thank you
Michelle Bentley You're welcome. I failed to mention dish soap as well for washing out sippy cups and the reusable cups they give you when you stay on Disney property and are on the dining plan. Thanks for watching!
Such great tips! You are a pro! I love all the germ-free tips, I am the same way and I love to hear how other people stay germ free! Thanks for sharing!
Great video! I have a typed up list on my phone that I made on my computer in a Disney type font, color coded each category, and then emailed it to myself and downloaded it as a pdf so I can always access it! I already had most of these things on my list but a few other maybe out of the box things I'm going to bring are: A mini steamer (that you can get at Target for $20 and it is AMAZING!!!) A scentsy night light warmer. The one I have produces very little light but an amazing smell that is always like home when I walk in, and reminds me of my trip when I come home! Room spray for the bathroom ;) Zyrtec. You may not have seasonal allergies at home but you might have a change if you go to another state with different climates and temperatures that accommodate plant life that you aren't used to. Lip balm with SPF 20. (Baby lips in the light blue with pink letters tube. No color, minimal scent) having sun burned lips is the worst! Then I pack the usual too. :)
+Miss Tiff Wow! You sound very organized! We definitely bring SPF lip balm for sure! The Tuga SPF hats for the girls are awesome, too! Thanks for the suggestions!
You are not the only person who wipes down everything with Clorox wipes or Lysol wipes!! It's a good practice since sometimes things in hotels aren't as clean as people would like to think.
Make sure to keep the filter in your hydration bottle, pack, what have you, CLEAN! those filters are small dark wet and perfect locations for bacteria.
Lol I’d need an extra aeroplane seat 😂😂 I jest great tips if your able to drive I do bring disinfecting wipes and washing tablets as it’s so expensive to buy and the little boxes only do one load and I usually do two lights and darks etc , I will definitely be bringing a filter bottle xx
Don’t forget the nickels! We got surprised...found a few nickel machines I had to tell my daughter she couldn’t press the nickel because we didn’t have nickels...just a few just in case you find a press nickel machine.
And the controls too!!! Those things are filthy and just the thought of someone touching their personals then using the controls, oh God how disgusting. My family thinks I'm nuts too for wiping evrything down, but I don't care. I don't even let my family use the gross bed spreads, they are NEVER washed and I know this for certain!!!!
MsPopRouge ikr I'm flying from England, I would need my own plane to bring all that stuff 😂🙈 I've been three times , this year I'm taking a large suitcase for myself and my two boys to share , it's so hot you only really need vest tops and shorts , denim skirt one nice dress and sandals, I wear my trainers, I usually go to Walmart the first day and stock up on snacks/ sun cream, plus we each have hand luggage with electronics and personal items like sunglasses, water bottles and the like , it's only two weeks lol
I get what you're saying, but don't risk getting germs and sick on vacation. And you can't possibly mean something "in the nicest way possible" and mock them at the same time. Just saying.
Stefanie Fontaine I was not mocking anyone. Tone isn't heard via text. I'm sure you understand that. It was to demonstrate that I meant it as a sincere suggestion. Although your kinda late to the comment game. Btw that was a mock.

beingmommywithstyle Thanks so much!
This is honestly one of the most informative Disney videos I have found, thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad to hear that! I have an entire Disney playlist in case you're interested: ruclips.net/video/O78zCENUYr0/видео.html Thanks so much for watching!
Love the tip about bath mats for the tub!
Wow. That is a lot of work. You deserve a medal. It's exhausting just watching the video. I am so very thankful I get to travel without kids now.
+John McCluskey I'm definitely a bit of an overpacker. :)

You can't be too cautious, can you? Of course, we can't live in a bubble but why not do what we can to prevent germs from spreading? :)

Monica Ketcham That's a great idea! Thanks for watching! :)
Great tips!! To go along with the personal fan, we bring a travel sized pump spray bottle and fill it up at the water fountain. It saved us while waiting in line at Splash Mountain on a 90° day with 4 young boys:)
+Tricia Schuh That's a great idea and so much cheaper than the misting fans they sell at Disney! Thanks for watching!

Awesome! Yes haha that's what I meant! Thanks so much :)

I'm glad you liked the video! I like to be prepared, that's for sure! I'm not a very light packer. lol
I don't even have kids but most of these were perfect. Very informative video! Also, the post-it note idea for the toilet sensors is genius!
+Brianna Rebelo Thanks! I'm so glad you found it helpful even though you don't have kids because that was my intention. :) Thanks so much for watching!
I wish I would have thought of post-it notes on the sensors a few years ago...thanks for sharing your tips! 17 more sleeps till Disney.

+Debra Smith The plastic baggie trick changed my life! LOL That's a neat tip about the Dollar Tree soap holders. Thanks so much for watching!

lissa crane Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching!
Great suggestions. I always bring lysol spray and some type of wipes also to sanitize our room. Never thought of bring bath mat, but will from now on.
+Tabathia B It really comes in super handy. I'm glad it was helpful and thanks for watching!
excellent idea about the remote in the ziploc! I wipe and wipe and wipe with clorox but still feel like it's never clean enough.
Oh I know and remotes are soooo gross! :)

+Malibu Vasquez Aww, thanks. That's nice of you to say! I'm glad the video was helpful! :)
You are not the only person who wipes down everything with Clorox wipes or Lysol wipes!! It's a good practice since sometimes things in hotels aren't as clean as people would like to think.
biim85 I know! You never know what's lurking on the surfaces in there! I'm glad I'm not the only one. LOL
biim85 We buy a can of lysol spray and spray down the hotel room when we travel. You never know...
Bippity Boppity Boutique! That was making me laugh. :)
I Dream in Cake I know! I felt so stupid saying it over and over again. LOL
Love your videos...Taking my daughter to WDW for her 2nd bday do u have any tips for that age?
One suitcase for cleaning supplies and two suitcase for other thing!:)
Make sure to keep the filter in your hydration bottle, pack, what have you, CLEAN!
those filters are small dark wet and perfect locations for bacteria.
love the zip lock remote bag idea
+Maybelline Gonzalez Thanks. I don't know why I didn't think of it sooner! :) Stay tuned for some more Disney videos next month!

Great info, thanks for the video 🙂
+sarah stallings Thanks. You're very welcome!
it's was so helpful thanks again♡
+Malibu Vasquez You're very welcome! Are you planning a trip soon?
yes we're going in April .
+Malibu Vasquez That's a great time of year to go!
are wet whipes good too use for cleaning instead of clorax which is better
Wet Wipes are for your hands while Clorox wipes aren't for use on your body...only hard surfaces.
+aplacetonest thanx
Don’t forget the nickels! We got surprised...found a few nickel machines I had to tell my daughter she couldn’t press the nickel because we didn’t have nickels...just a few just in case you find a press nickel machine.
That's true, I forgot about those. :)
I am going to drive to disney world too
+Aminata Koroma Now that I'm used to it, it really isn't too bad. I like being able to pack whatever I want! lol
Let your kids get exposure to germs, your doing them more harm with all the germ phobia. I mean this in the nicest way.
Melissa Coates: I agree. I bet she carries along bleach in her purse with her as well!😜
MsPopRouge ikr I'm flying from England, I would need my own plane to bring all that stuff 😂🙈

Ok.
are you ever going to show your kids in videos?
No, I don't think so. I like for them to have their privacy.
We have your bedding! ;)
+Kelley Rhodes That's funny. We've had it for a long time and it's help up very well. :)
You look exactly like Amy Adams.
+Julianna Fletcher That's funny, I've heard that several times before. Thanks!
