Moral of the story: Never go for a 5-shark deal.
1 Cr. for 1.5 percent was good and even further negotiable. If not Anupam then Aman and company would've matched it or vice-versa. Valuation is always more important than valuer.

But its not all about valuation everytime. All the pitchers know the fact that sharks barely match their last round valuation or post money valuation. They clearly invest on monthly sales and ebidta positive growth. But still all the pitchers come to shark tank to popularize their brands and attract general audience with their vision and produsts. I have seen many companies came to shark tank with an ask of 50 lacs to 1 cr when the last round they raised was almost 4x or 5x of what they asked in shark tank.
