    Can't wait to get my P Pump you guys just rebuilt for me back in my 12 valve. We set it up for 400 HP because it's in a Class A Motorcoach and with the 5 12 injectors..etc...& it should be a beast. I'm running a radiator and Intercooler out of a Ford F700 MDT truck.
    I think the 64 Fummins Turbo will be the next big step for my rig. If it'll pull Eisenhower Pass out of Colorado flat towing my rock crawler without having to grunt up in 1st gear, like it did with the old EFI 460 & C6 into to Moab, I'll be happy. And that reprogrammed Allison 5 speed will be the icing on the cake!

    • @pddofficial
      @pddofficial  Год назад +1

      On the full power run we started them at the same rpm and the aggressor made peak torque 200 rpm earlier. On tuned mode griff had low end fueling limited to control smoke with the 362. It wouldn't pull through the load until higher rpm. With the aggressor it spooled easily at a lower rpm so we showed it. It is a real difference between turbos. If we tuned the truck specifically for the aggressor turbo the torque would have been even higher. That might be a fun quick follow up video!

      @@pddofficial you guys added air and introduced fuel more efficiently. I can't say for certain if the injection changes is delivering less fuel so I assume it's the same but better atomization. Either way more air same fuel means more fuel combustion taking place in the cylinder instead of in the exhaust manifold. Which equals less smoke less heat and more power. Banks talks a lot about this in his videos.

      hp is just a ratio or torque so yes, but why would you want to?

      @@pddofficial As High Egts kills engines, torque kills auto trans. I once owned the 03 Dodge 3500 cummins 305hp/550tq and that was plenty fast for me. So about that for my swap would be great. I want to tie a 47rh auto 4x4 non-electric tranny to my 6bt to stand alone in my box Chevy without trans tuner and not spending 5-10k on a tranny to hold up to 1k torqueI'm even making the pump shut off manual and doing away with solenoid valve.

      I can only imagine that cam selection would achieve this? Any other way?

      You would be making peak power at 2626rpm. That's about 500rpm higher than what you're typical 12-valve likes.

    So for us that are diesel illiterate but love watching what you diesel guys are doing and wondering how 90% of you are rolling coal and acting like it's a ok and then I watching banks power and hear gale banks say if you're rolling tons of black smoke you are doing it wrong. Any explanation or clarification you can offer for myself being diesel illiterate?
