Is there someone who can tell me please what type of electric violin is the one played in this video (and in a number of concerts in the second half of the 80s) by Ric Sanders? The brand, the name of the model, etc. Thank you very much!
This is one of my favourite Fairport songs of the era, along with Red and Gold from a couple of years later. I don’t think this version does it justice, the album version is rockier and edgier.
Thanks for the post...great performance of a song they've long dropped from the set....

I really miss this line up.
I miss Maart :(
Wonderful stuff. It was about this era that Simon really came into his own as a strong lead vocalist.
Nice with real piano - thanks for posting :)
Hard to believe that Simon, Peggy and Ric have now been together for 31 years straight.
Poor Peggy.
RIP Maart
Induct Fairport Convention into, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is on Facebook. Thanks, KBK

No sound . . .
Australian Rock? Really? Selly Oak, NSW suddenly?
Folk Rock. Australian Rock. More. Three separate concepts. I know it's a bit tricky.
Best days behind them by then. The arrangements were getting monotonously dull and uninspired. Here, for example.
its a bit soft rock MOR
Dreadful tripe .
But less about you...
