The new 86 version comming out soon is epic. It seems with every new line release the detail just seems to get better and better the War for Cybertron trilogy line Shows what they can do when they really put the heart into it. And 86 line is even more impressive

ADAMska122 I know, it's bugging the crap outta me. the problem with making these characters headmasters is that the original headmasters all had square shaped heads that were designed for the gimmick. when you have a character who doesnt have a square shaped head using a headmaster the arms of it make the head look weird.

Wow, I have never noticed the jumpcuts before. Didn't even know you did them. Kudos to your editing prowess. As for the figure itself, he is the one I am most excited for out of the Wave 3 Deluxes. Any complaints are really nothing but nitpicks.

The whole "Gun seat on engine block" thing is an homage to Hot Rod's former status as a Targetmaster.

Awesome review bro!!! I really like this figure although there have been reports of a lot of loose joints with him. He probably looks closest to the animation model then any other general release figure especially in car mode. My favorite Hot Rod not counting the MP was the reveal the sheild version but this might just replace it. Thanks and keep up the great work. TILL ALL ARE ONE!!!

It's Funky to see hotrod as a headmaster, because the one i had was a target master like the cup i had, but still a cool new look

I used to have the classics Hot Rod, and it came with the Cyclonus, I got it on my 5th birthday,but my brother broke it and it's unfixable
you could also put the guns backwards and put the like thrusters

To be honest so so so happy they are making a new version for the new series.
Just found Hot Rod today. Had the choice between him and Triggerhappy. It was a tough choice, but I went with Hot Rod since he's a lead character in the 86 movie. I've seen multiple reviews calling Triggerhappy " one of the best figures in the line", but I only had enough cash on me for one of them. There are some things I could see being done better on Hot Rod, but he's better than the Generations version. I had to tighten his hip joints a bit and I may do the same to his knees. Other than that I'm happy with him. If I see Triggerhappy again before I find Kup, he'll be the next one I grab.

I have a titans return hotrod and his back brown ke off a few weeks after I got him I think and I glued it back on but it just broke off again same thing happened to my uncles same hotrod but his stayed on when he glued it. And now I wish I kept it somewhere safe and where I would remember it because now about fiveish years later I haven’t found it and I really wish I had kept it so I could at least have a complete alt mode
