Today when I look back to last Indian Idol Session, I don't know why people failed to see the fountain of talent present within Shanmukh Priya. For me, Shanmukh is not Indian Idol for me....She is the Modern Goddess of Female Vocalist of India
Her training , knowledge & talent allows her to change genres of singing in the same song effortlessly. She let's go & catches the "sur" ,plays with it ,explores it, expands it ,comes back to the original one & then rocks that one too differently ! What a talent ❤️!
Arunita and Sayli would make great background singers and I wish them my best. SMP is a whole different kind of artist. She does not belong behind the stage. She is the kind of artist that belongs on a stage like Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, etc. She has that kind of stage presence. I am not sure an Indian audience can understand and appreciate her talent given that generations have grown up with background singers like LataJi and AshaJi.
