Right off the rip, kudos to the editors (assuming Colin and/or Max) for addressing a comment from prior a prior video about showing the score in the current round. I'm still on the 1st hole but it is very nice seeing the overall gross and net, plus how the boys are doing on the current round. This will be helpful as we continue on with rounds 3 and 4.
Haven’t watched it even more than a minute and I had the same thought. They’re doing fantastic as of late of listening to the fans and addressing things quickly
They are legends
“Well gotta make that for 5”
Aj is so positive
I mean just keep up or listen to bubbie. It's not hard to keep track
you're welcome
Brad on the first hole looking at google maps, deliberating with garret, picking a line
Kwon: "I have zero clue what the line is, I'm just gonna whack it"
🤣🤣🤣
Tournaments over multiple videos are so enjoyable to watch. Definitely the best type of good good content.
Garret calling his 68 and Matt going from +14 to even par is the peak of good good. love the content boys keep it up!
Scharff shooting even par is so sick!
yeah, and he was so close to getting an under par round.
Incredible
+14 the round before makes it even better lol
I appreciate y’all taking the time to talk with me for a bit, and throwing a small clip in the video. Now my buddies will believe me
With Kwon talking about illegal pins, I decided to look it up. Basically there are no hard fast rules written, but there are guidelines and generally accepted practices. So there are no illegal pin placements, just superintendents that wake up and choose violence.
Enjoying the content lads. Cheers
USGA recommends 4 yards minimum from the edge of the green and in a flat area of the green. You'll never see a silly pin position like this on the PGA tour or in a USGA tournament. Just a careless greenskeeper thought he would be cute that morning.
Love love love that you guys listened & added the ‘today’s rd scores’ column. Thank you!!! 1:10
love seeing Scharff play well! Keep it up my dogs
I appreciate yall so much for taking the time from your round to meet all of us fans that day!! A great experience!! Hopefully yall come back and play but hopefully yall play at OCC!!
I thought the same… shame that Ratliff is in such tough shape. OCC Old Course would’ve been fun to see
Agreed but I rather them play ratliff than Hogan but would be cool what they would have shot on Quail.
Such good content. Real courses, real conditions, variety of golfers - so relatable! Keep it up @goodgood 🔥
The panning drone on the hole 14 putts was a nice touch. We need more of them.
Hats off to Scharff for shooting even par this round to get back to averaging his handicap for the series. I thought for sure after the first round that there was no way he’d have a shot to be in the running.
That said, it sure looks like Brad and Luke are in the driver’s seat, here. Having an event that covers multiple rounds really shows how good those guys can be.
Well gonna be a late night
U KNOW IT BABY 😅😅
Who needs sleep anyway!! 😂 I will need to crack an extra monster in the morning but 🤘🏼
Better get that 🎶 decaf in ya booty crack 🎶
2x speed
Thought the same shit 😂😂 can’t resist I watching it though
I love that everyone's playing their ball out except Steve who is unashamedly picking up his "gimme putts" that are like a foot or two out.
the Good Good tournaments where they play everything out and nothing is "good" are my favorite.
Yeah, what’s really up with the elephant on the corse?
This has been some of the most enjoyable GG content in a while imo (not counting the desert open obviously). The format and the content are just all so good. Love the split groups and watching the guys play highly average courses that most everyone has access to.
finally got that tune out of my head from the last video, and now "decaf in my booty crack" is right back in there. Thanks for that.
MORE DRONE SHOTS. The drone shot of Matt on hole 14 was sweet. Definitely do more of those
Steve subtly admitting he’s borderline hammered around the 38:20 mark is hilarious
missed it when cause it’s not 8:20
It’s 38:20 I think
In the last video he said he was going to take a few shots before the round like he did the day before. He's definitely drinking in some of these videos and it's kinda sad to watch. I think that's a big reason why he is laying down half the time in these videos. He has to be careful because alcohol can really take over his life if he keeps it up
@@360CClaudson lmao calm down he’s been laying down in videos ever since his car accident years ago. Nothing new to see
@@joeyhope6129 I’ve just had too many friends lives ruined over alcohol. He has no reason to be drinking while he’s “working”. It’s even worse if he’s the only one drinking. Just my 2 cents
Colin you are an absolute legend. The people requested that the scores on the day are shown and the very next video the scores are shown! This is why good good is the best, you give the fans what they want ASAP. Bravo to all of the editing team
Matt is the friggin best. His antics in the early videos got me to keep coming back. It's so cool that you guys get to have such a friggin awesome job! I hope G makes the tour one day! Thanks for the entertainment gentleman!!!!
Hats off to AJ. Way to stay positive throughout the round. Yes you were having a day. Good on you young man!
Did not give him enough strokes I feel like he should’ve started where Matt did
17:00 RIP to my homie the 60 degree.
Then later in the video “I tried to bend it back, but I don’t know what loft my 60° is” 😂
Nothing more enjoyable then watching Steven and Matt hit good golf shots….and Brad
As I was about to fall asleep 😂🙌🏼 let see Hoodie Kwon
nah fr tho😭
@@bradyschut8475 the title and the thumbnail lmao easy trap 🙏🏼
Kwon is the best! Love watching that man
Kwon in da shiesty
What a great thing to listen to while trying to fall asleep. Gonna have to rewatch tomorrow haha
Aj and kwon kept tripping me out haha
Brad is a beast and can drive the ball a mile. I have never seen him perform this well, hats off to you Brad
i loved Matt's ad in the middle good vibes all the time boyz keep it up
Why did I laugh so hard at Steve’s “what’s up?” On hole 14? 😂
content and editing is top notch from Colin, Max and the boys as usual. the drone putting view for Matt's putt hole 14 was sweet. Need more of those for sure
I always laugh so hard when they cut right before Steve launches a club 😂
Something about that West Texas weather, I swear
you know it’s a good night when good good posts
morning here in australia
Not a good night. A good good night. (not glue. Super Glue!).
Finish your holes steve!!
Watching Steve give himself a gimmie, then AJ missing that exact putt 😬
Steve is also drunk on this video. Does he not have any dignity? Playing a tournament type challenge and getting hammered and not playing everything out... I always thought GoodGood needed a clearly worst player, but not if it's Steve if he's doing this.
@@kevinkrusen483you sound like a lot of fun. Let’s the kids enjoy their golf, nerd.
@@Hecks_808 I don't mind people drinking while enjoying a day out with their friends. But when its your job and you're making other people's jobs much harder because you went too far, THEN it's an issue. You see how much they have to edit around whenever Steve is on camera, right? Hard for them to find usable content with him, and some of his behavior they can't mask (breaking 2 clubs in a single round)
@@kevinkrusen483 I don’t know the dynamics behind any of their friendships. But I’m sure they know and are use to his antics. He shows us how they’re normal people too. Let loose brah.
I am 169 years old and discovered your channel some time ago. I subscribed to it and get notifications when you share a new video. However, I’m having a bit of trouble now. The notifications won’t stop. At first I thought it was nothing, but now it’s one notification after another, an endless symphony of pings and buzzes that fractured the stillness at my retirement home. I thought watching your video would stop it, but it won’t end. I’ve purchased Good Good merchandise and used your hoodies to muffle what are now sounds of agony. The shirt is very soft and doesn’t scratch my skin.
4 YARDS!!!
USGA recommends - at a relatively level area minimum of 12 feet from the fringe of the green and in accordance with the conditions of the day.
But that's what it is, a recomendation. I find it funny that golf has so many rules and regulations but when it comes to flag position there are none, only recomendations. So not an illegal pin position
You'll never see a silly Pin position like this on the PGA tour or in a USGA tournament.
@@19amh92 yah... I know... Why I put recommends in my statement... I was simply putting what a Good Good member asked to know about 🤔.
And, there is no such thing as "an illegal pin position." Everything about a pin location is simply a USGA suggestion 👍.
@@georgespalding7640 could you imagine a pin on the side of a hill 3 feet from the fringe 🤔🤦♂️😂
@@tankeater 🤪🤪
Please do more of those series! Its hilarious
Steve’s got so generous giving himself some putts
If everything was putt out it wouldn’t be an 82, let’s just put it that way
Haha between that and hitting another shot on the par 3 they let him get away with everything 😂
Let him cook!
Bunch of golf cheaters.
🚋🚋🚋 WE'RE BACK ON THE LUKE KWON TRAIN BABY KEEP IT MOVIN' ONTO THE NEXT STOP CHOO CHOO 🚋🚋🚋
best intro to a good good video ever! 🤣i got that decaf in my bootycrack had my dying, love this series guys, keep it up!
Why does Steve always seem like he can't wait to be done playing? Kinda kills the vibe - otherwise great video as always!
I sort of agree with this but also find Steve to be highly relatable as a mid handicapper.
He's trashed. At least that's part of his deal in this one. Otherwise, I agree. Getting paid to go travel and play golf with your buddies all the time and dude acts like it's 4PM at a desk job and he can't wait to be outta there.
This was so amazing watching you guys play a course that I’ve played many rounds on is so dope.
Love Matt carrying half his clubs around then saying luckily I brought the right club!
Kudos to you guys for playing this tournament on Mars😂 feeling like this is Links of Victoria in LA😂
It's better in the summer I live in odessa when it's cold here everything dies 😂
I love the amount of times Steve just gives himself a putt haha
Brad talked like he had straw in his mouth when the locals showed up 😂🤠
Glad to see Matt finally playing some great golf!
This good good. Happy to have found this page cuz i been binge watch for a few weeks now!
When Dalke 4 putted the last then looked at the camera and said sick! I felt it in my soul!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂 Dude was feeling it though absolutely love watching this shit!!
Thank you editing team for adding the “Today” column for the scores!!
Way cool to see you guys playing in my home town! Hope you guys found some of the awesome food during your visit. If you're ever back in Odessa look for a place called Garibaldi's. Brisket burritos are my favorite!
You can really tell AJ is the son of a pro athlete. The way he keeps his composure and speaks positive through everything to keep his mind right. Just brushes it off and moves onto the next one. That's a high level mental game.
I love the commentary from bubbie. Such good vibes always
Props to Steve! His tee shots have been outstanding!
Go back to the 9 minute mark of the previous video. G-Rat called his score on hole 1 👀 “Cart number 68 and that’s what I’m gonna shoot today, it’s all I got in me”
"Thank ya boysss" Transfusions were hitting lol
Brad, on every tee box, no matter the distance: “gonna hit it as hard as i can”
Thought I would contribute to the Garrett putting stats and provide some extra statistics on things like GiR, birdie conversion, and what putts he made or missed at what distances. So here are Garretts stats over the course (heh) of the current two rounds
Putts round 1
Front 1. 2. 1. 2. 2. 1. 1. 2. 1. Back 1. 2. 1. 1. 2. 1. 4. 2. 3.
Round 2
Front 2. 2. 2. 1. 2. 3. 2. 2. 2 Back 2. 2. 2. 2. 1. 1. 1. 2. 2.
(opted not to count Garrets putt out of the bunker on hole 4 of the first round and his first putt on 11 round 2 since he was off the green and a mile from the hole)
Average putts per hole. Round 1. Front 9 1.3 Back nine 1.9 Round 2. Front nine 2.0
Back nine 1.7
GiR (getting on the green for birdie or better) 28/36
Up and downs (hitting off the green for birdie or worse and then one putting) 4/8
Putts for birdie made 13/28
Putts for eagle made 0/4
Kinda tough to gauge this sometimes so take this with a grain of salt
Tap ins 21/21
Putts made at roughly 5 ft 10/14
Putts made at roughly 10 ft 6/8
Putts made at roughly 15 ft 1/9
Putts made at roughly 20 ft 0/6
Putts made beyond 20 ft 0/5
His putting within 12 ft is quite consistent and two of those missed 5 footers had nasty slopes, but with how much he's been struggling with the long putts it makes the few flubs at short range stand out more. Also his GiR is very good though with quite a few holes being shorter it gives him an edge on that. If I missed something or made an error feel free to correct me
West Texas golf is different. Watching the struggle is fun.
Garrett putting stats
First 9 holes: 13 putts. 5 one putts, 4 two putts.
Second 9: 17 putts. 4 one putts, 3 two putts, a 3 and a 4 putt.
Third 9: 18 putts. 1 one putt, 7 two putts, 1 three putt.
Fourth 9: 13 putts on the green. 5 one putts, 4 two putts. 3 putts from just off the green
61 putts through 36 holes on the road trip.
Round 1: 30 putts
Round 2: 31 putts
Team Kwon winning the tourney : 👍🏼
Brad will easily win this tournament
@@georgespalding7640it's a tough call. I think everyone agrees Kwon is the better golfer, but that doesn't mean Brad can't give Kwon a run for his money or even beat him a bunch of days. The wild card with Kwon is that he really frequently takes things WAYYY less seriously than everyone else (top comment on this video is a great example)
Matt's recovery this round following a tough 1st round was very impressive.
I love that Steve hits his hat with his follow through nearly 100% of the time but never takes the hat off beforehand.
It’s a great day when good good uploads
At this stage just watching for Brad to make par or bogey and hoping kwon gets that bird 😂
Shout out garret giving Steve another shot after his 7 iron. Class act from the lad
Been a fan since gm_golf and the start of Goodgood but to address Garrett’s literal plea of fresh ideas to get that OG vibe-impossible. And here are the reasons why-
1. I only see three characters who draw your attentions and that’s G, Matt and Luke (Bubbie ofc but he isn’t part of this)
2. G trying to get Brad to vibe with him to get that Grant and G in a cart entertainment but let’s face Brad is a little flat. He is serious about his game(which is great by the way) but he isn’t as engaging
3. There’s a disparity in game(not skill) even with the handicap. Even among the pros, Luke and Brad, there’s different play styles which is refreshing but there’s no thrill of competitiveness like the BryanBros-Micah-Grant-Busta games. It’s just chaos tbh
4. Steven has the lost plot. Picking up gimmes which he himself won’t give to himself, throwing clubs, taking mulligans(don’t have a club, chunked your first tee shot, take a mulligan) and being downright not interested in the videos. It’s a golf channel bruh, the antics go into some other genre of content
The present GG will no doubt create ripples, hit new milestones (like the live event) but there’s no way it is going back to the content of past. The production has just surpassed any competition out there is and can only forward.. but it will always lack the panache that was
HeyScharff I know you probably won’t see this, but just in case, take a look at the swing 18:39 you make, and even though you are hitting a three-quarter shot the way you get on top of the ball with your right shoulder is something you should seriously consider repeating. Your big misses come into play when that right shoulder gets stuck way behind you and you never really get through the shot the square that club up. I broke my back man I get it you have to learn to swing around it. I hear you. But I think this is something you should really try to groove feeling like you’re right shoulder is on top of the ball impact squeezing it. Cheers, brother good luck. If you ever actually want to work on your swing, I am a swim coach, hit me up. I know I can help. And if not, I hope this helps. God bless bro.
You guys can’t cut out Stephen throwing his club on the par 3 c’mon now we need to see stuff like that haha
RIP 7 iron
Callaway probably doesn't want their clubs being smashed on video
Putting Stats Garret: (took some time)
Putting: Not that great
😂
Even par for Scharff! Few burned lips away from a sub 70! Good stuff Matt
Matt’s lag putting on the back has been so good
Impressed with some of Steve's shots on a course that would make Clint Eastwood proud. (Great editing btw)
Multi round stroke play is by far the best format, so much more interesting than scrambles. I would love to see a round by round stroke situation, as then you could have a round gross and net winner. For example this round Scharff (as he gets 28/4=7 strokes per round) would have won the net this round at -7, Brad in second at -6. And it would make the leaderboard relevant for the first couple rounds. Love this format!!! It would be awesome to have you keep track of handicaps and give updates as you go along (if say you did do lots more stroke play).
im 30 min into this vid and idk how it will finish but gaht damn Luke and Brad are good golfers
I love AJ man hes so positive and i feel like he mixes with good good perfectly
Aye its commendable that he doesnt lose it when everything goes to shiit, hope he makes a miracle next round and get a few shots back, he deserves that for his class
That Scharff bounceback is what we want to see!
By far the best round I have seen him shoot. Wasn't more than a year or so ago on his own channel he was losing to mediocre girls from college. Embarrassing.
I think I remember a couple years ago he shot like even par one time before his back went out. It's good to see him hitting the ball good again. His drive today were mostly really good.
I’m from Odessa it’s so cool to see them play this west Texas classic
Might sound crazy but I think there’s a slight miscalculation in your guys’ scoring of Steve, Matt and Aj. I think they are being slightly undersold and should have a couple more strokes. If Steve is a 10 handicap, Matt a 7, AJ a 5 then I understand why they started at -40, -28 and -20. BUT if Brad and Kwon are +2.5 handicaps (since Garrett starts at -10 and is a scratch golfer), it seems like Steve, Matt and Aj are missing out on those 2.5 strokes per day against Brad and Kwon, and they each should be getting 10 more strokes for the tourney.
Unless Steve is a 12 handicap, Matt a 9 and Aj is a 7 then it’d make more sense.
I think garret should have started at E and Kwon and Brad should have started +10 if they're +2.5.
It makes sense if they're saying Garrett's handicap is 2.5 and Kwon and Brad are scratch. But clearly they're better than that.
2 rounds left and AJ is already behind Brad and Luke
That means he lied about his handicap lol. It’s his own fault.
Steve and Matt are playing good compared to their handicaps, AJ isn’t
Let AJ live lol y’all trippin over what
@@alecsiegrist6277AJ putting everything out. Steve doesn't. Ruins the vid when one guy plays by his own rules, and who is already getting 40 strokes.
Great content boys! Matt killed it, keep it up bro, it’s nice to see you do well. God bless!
Gotta love when it's 3am and you can't sleep but Good Good comes to the rescue.
Brad could have really gone like 10 under if he didn’t miss some of those putts
Kwon is becoming my fave haha
Can someone PLEASE show Steve how to tighten a hat
Props to the Filmer‘s and editors making these awesome videos the best they can be 🎉
The drone shots on the 14th green are soooo sick, we need more of those!
Watching the guys 3 putt multiple times while Stephen gives himself 3-5 footers is peak Good Good 😂

Nice 68 for Garrett and EVEN for Scharff? That’s awesome!!

36:00 more of these angle shots of the drone please, very good angle!
On hole 14 we need more drone shots of the putts. That was sick and easier to see the hole
This is easily the best content in awhile. It reminds me of the original good good cup.

I've still got that damn decaf song in my head. I think Scharff needs less caffeine!
Decaf is less caffeine lol
