You can clearly tell that they put unnecessary and artificial load on the CPU if you use an old device with new iOS version, the reason why the battery starts to heat up fast after an update

Actually, there is something you are missing: software. iOS 9 is much lighter than iOS 15, so being both as powerful makes a huge difference in the final result

@@nicholashoi3155 iOS was known for that kind of smoothness it has been been gone now. now android and iOS feels almost similar even android beats iOS. iOS 7-8-9-10 and earlier versions of iOS 12 were way smoother to use than these iOS 13 14 or 15
older IOS were the best (6, 7, 8, 9), i miss swipe to unlock, old icons and smooth feel while using it
Apple did magic by giving it iOS 15 because all rumors pointed to the SE being left on iOS 14.
Just upgraded my SE from 9 to 15. Works amazing! Great update for such an old phone.
Did you ever do a battery swap? My 2016 SE drains quiet fast on iOS 15.4.1
@@jamesf1508 no, but it’s still at 93%. It last twice as long on a charge as my IPod 7 does. But I don’t have it hooked up to cell service, and that improves run time considerably.

Updates are often actually there to destroy your smartphone or make it very unpleasant to use so people will buy a new phone.. it's a shame that people give their hard-earned money to these companies

Idk if u know this but all apple a9 chip devices like the iPhone 6s and 6s+ and the iPhone SE 1 on iOS 9 CANNOT be reset to factory settings. Doing so will brick it and you’ll be forced to update. My friend @iclassic told everyone in one of his videos
Thats if the device was lock to a carrier and never got activated. Both my 6s and SE on iOS 9 were factory unlock

@@WilliamsTech so i replaced my iphone se 2016 battery with one 100% not sure if it's original tho , while performance got back up to peak , the battery is not like in ios9 for sure but of course if you want to use it for nowadays apps u have to update , i get like 2.5 TOS

Nope, unless you really need the app support then it is what it is.. I prefer pre ios 13 home screen bcs since ios 14, the home screen icon got smaller for the 4 inch devices

Cpu trottling is real.. luckily can remove that by jailbreak.. filza will do the job,. Good performance on my ios 13.3
It does not make any sense coz ios 9 was optimize for old hardware and it's quite not in case of ios 15 coz it is optimize for newer models of iPhone and 1 more thing iphone se is old now it's not recommend to update ur iPhone se to ios 15 coz it's quite unfair for ur device.Hope you got my point!😎

For someone that just needs a phone for calls, iMessages, emailing, music and light browsing. iPhone SE on iOS 15 works fine. If you want all the other apps, phone will die way faster. But mine lasts me. But then again in older and not only phone a whole much anymore. Waste of time.
