I known right?? In my opinion zamasu getting such an unbelievably disrespect in terms of power and skills. In his last Form literally NOONE is able to destroy him exept Zeno.
As controversial as the ending, it showed that sometimes the situation could escalate to the point that it’s no longer possible for mortal capability to be able to mean anything and it as no longer a physical enemy, but a malevolent concept, something beyond what was able to be stopped normally. It would have to be in the hands of the divine to stop it from getting worse. Overall, the arc showcases a gradually, escalating threat that would be eventually too much for the usual Dragon Ball tactics to work on. An evil version that’s around SS3 level? Too bad, he’s not only got a new transformation that trounces Blue, but he’s allied with his alternate self that’s immortal. Manage to overcome them in power? The evil counterpart can slice up the fabric of space itself to make regenerative clones. Capable of sealing the immortal foe away? Too bad, they fuse into a being that can manifest an energy monster, is partially immortal and can fight on par briefly with the strongest heroic fusion character. Kill his physical body with a Deus Ex Machina? His spirit merges with the multiverse to destroy all life; forcing the ultimate deity this far, to destroy an entire multiverse timeline to do him in for good.

The power scaling between SSB Goku's Kamehameha and Vegeto Blue is kinda weird, but Vegeto was dealing with a zenkai-boosted Zamasu, where Goku wasn't. Also, Goku put so much damn ki in that kamehameha that it actually BROKE BOTH OF HIS OWN ARMS. That's never happened, ever 😂
LITERALLY. I guess that’s how they wanted to explain goku beating zamasu’s ball thing. You don’t see that happen to him anywhere else tho,not the 4x kaioken kamehameha against vegeta, not the 20x kaioken kamehameha against frieza, not even the fucking tp kamehameha on cell. Not even GT had that at any point. It’s just ridiculous,to my personal and controversial opinion this arc is not that good.
@@PomadaGaming I think the issue in consistency with their power is their anger-powered attacks or capabilities as saiyans. You have vegeta who has gotten his ass beat time and time again but when he gets really mad at beerus for slapping bulma, suddenly his SSJ form is on par with the power of a god, even for just a split second. Then again, I guess that’s to add variety to the fights because otherwise, everything becomes too scripted and obvious because the best form or strongest character will always win every single altercation so willpower and skill are factored in
I love how crazy Zamasu is as a character concept. Sure, it's broken as hell, but that's kind of part of the fun. It shows how great the power of the Super Dragon Balls is. And yeah it was kind of obvious to have Goku call on Zen-Oh with the button, but the simplicity of it is kind of funny at the same time. And I like the fact that the heroes can't always win. The Spirit Sword was kinda weird but visually awesome. I guess the thing with DB is just, don't try to make sense of it all. You can't.
Fused Zamasu is my favorite villain. Amazing design, amazing power set, the dub VA puts in the fuckin work, and I love the “self-righteous god” archetype
99sonicrocks Neither did Merged Zamasu. Merged Zamasu wasnt taking over the universe with his own powers, his “death” simply broke the laws of the universe at that moment and the paradox of his immortal body dying caused him to begin merging with the universe. It’s, in a broad sense, a hypothetical divide by zero situation. Trunks KILLED an IMMORTAL body. That doesn’t make sense, so the universal rules went ape shit. Besides, it doesn’t matter if Jiren can affect timelines or not- he can just fire a blast powerful enough to completely wipe away the space Zamasu’s body inhabits.
@@extremelyboredtatsumaki.495 Then why didn't Zeno simply erase the space Zamasu inhabited? He had to destroy ALL the universes as well as the entire timeline to get rid of Zamasu. Heck, Zamasu was even starting to appear in the main timeline. What answer does Jiren have to that? Besides blasting and possibly destroying a small portion of Zamasu's presence. Granted, Jiren could easily survive Zamasu's attacks I dont think he would have a way to put him down.
Yes I've been waiting on this for the longest. Zamasu and Goku Black were my favorite characters in (Dragon Ball Super) keep up the good work my guy 💯💯
I remember that in the manga, Merged Zamasu was multiplying near the end of the arc after one clone of Merged Zamasu was destroyed. I feel that Merged Zamasu could have made clones of himself in the ANIME since GOKU BLACK was able to create clones of himself when he fought Goku and Vegeta while Future Zamasu was being attacked by Future Trunks' Evil Containment Wave.
I think one of the few things the anime got right, compared to the manga (in my opinion), is the ending. Both had Zeno destroy the multiverse. But I felt like in the anime it was more understandable as to why it had to be completely destroyed. I felt like, with just multiple Merged Zamasus, I didn't understand why the entire multiverse had to be erased e.g. maybe just planet earth, the solar system, or maybe just universe 7. With the anime, and the fact Zamasu was almost like an infection, that reached the multiverse, then its more understandable why the entire timeline had to be erased.
No mention on his aura? And how it was so bright and godly, almost like a rainbow at first, and then when he started falling apart, went back to the rosé style aura. Then when he became the universe, it was straight up black and red. I find that to be such a neat change for them to add.
While listening to you towards the end, I was thinking about Earthbound and your summary fitted perfectly with Giygas. Zamasu's creepy face in the sky also reminded me of Giygas. Either way, Zamazu is one of my favorite villain because he is so different from the others. An actually immortal foe that has pretty much already won, but keeps fighting our protagonists because of some kind of twisted desire for punishment and divine justice. Also, he is a Kaioshin! I would have never expected a Kaioshin character to be able to make a good and owerpowered villain.
Technically infinite Zamasu can not be defeated by any one except for Zeno, not even Jiren that transcends time can't defeat infinite Zamasu since Jiren cannot destroy time lines & universes like Zeno does to get rid of infinite Zamasu.
This is why I loved this arc. It had problems but the idea of both Goku Black and Zamasu were great, and their merged formed looked epic and like you were suggesting possibly only second in power to Grand Zeno. I feel a little upset because I know how poorly this arc was received and I felt like they really could have made this arc the best one ever with the story and this villain, but I still enjoyed it for what it's worth.
All this makes me wonder how merged infinite Zamasu would stack up against Jiren. Before this video I thought that Zamasu had only managed to infect universe 7. But clearly if he infected the multiverse then it stands to reason that Jiren was killed in his own universe by merged infinite Zamasu.
Bruh infinite zamasu literally ended up causing the multiverse to be wiped away, that was literally the threat in t.o.p, but don’t forget infinites zamasu’s actually threat threatened other timelines in anime, that’s literally terrifying power right there
I loved how dark this arc felt. Like the z fighters might not see a way out of this. I would like to see more writing done this way, or deep sci-fi theory type arcs!
"Dad, I don't know what I want to be when I grow up." "Don't worry son. You have time, and you can be anything if you put your mind to it." "Really?" **"THEN I WANT TO BE EVERYTHING"**
Zamasu was easily the best villain the show has seen. I loved how it showed that even the gods could be corrupted be evil. It made for a very, very interesting story and for an amazing character. To add on, the voice acting and scripting for Zamasu was insanely good. The part where he finally fuses with Goku Black and gives a small speech about his divinity is my favorite part of the entire Dragon Ball series. Not to mention he looks super cool. Absolutely amazing and by far my favorite arc of Super.
I adored merged Zamasu and honestly kind of liked the ending. I think it is kind of disappointing to know that in the end that Trunks ultimately failed saving his timeline even after all of the Cell stuff, but the escalation of the threat was necessary for Dragon Ball Super. Like it's on par with the moment that Majin Buu genocides the earth but there aren't any dragonballs to erase what happened (one of the few times that something bad happens and is forever bad). Although I initially thought it was kind of dumb for the Whis to fix the timeline such that there were two Trunk's and Mai's, but leaving that in does really emphasize the permanence of Trunk's actually real family being dead. Also, I really want to see that new timeline again in the future to just know what it's like for Trunk's to be living with himself. How strong the two of them could become together and what it would be like for them to fuse. You would have to think that fusing with yourself and your own body would make it more potent with both people being on the exact same page. That all said. I like to believe the Zamasu face in the sky was purely a visual cue. Like, in the DBS universe they didn't just see faces everywhere but some ethereal darkness. Because lets be real. It's kind of silly for it to be giant faces.
Just imagine if the manga version fused with the anime version, I could see the army of a billion Zamasu’s lining up into pairs, and fusing until 1 remains, than fusing with the anime version. It would probably just be called ultimate Zamasu. Or maybe they could do something like the Namiekian fusion/Moro fusing with the earth, instead just having 5th dimensional Zamasu fusing into his infinite army, than fusing the army into one Zamasu.
Merged Zamasu was very creative but was executed poorly at times like trunks outta nowhere cutting him and having zeno just erase everything making the arc pointless but then again having zamasu fuse with the universe was kinda cool
10:22-10:26 "The Universe becoming ill and there's no way to fix it". Great comparison Geekdom! And that part where you said that Infinite Zamasu was like a virus/disease, that made me think of the HEART VIRUS that killed Future Goku.
Very nice video indeed @Geekdom101 and it's also worth saying that the Future Trunks/Goku Black/Zamasu sagas were also the darkest of all DB/Z/GT/Super so far. Btw, I am not watching your review videos because for the first time, I'm not allowing myself to watch any spoilers from those who have seen the movie as I want to go see it in the movie theatre and help show more financial support for it so to help encourage a stronger return for Super in 2019.
What Goku did at the end of the saga was something he should've did from the beginning because there's no point of fighting an immortal and Trunks, Mai, and the rest of the survivors would've been okay in another timeline.
Watch Into the Spider-verse Geekdom, don’t know how big of a Spider-Man fan you are but as a huge Spider-Man fan reluctant to watch it, it was amazing.
This is high tier marvel/DC situations. Merged Zamasu did things that are done by the strongest characters from comics. Dragon Ball will always be the strongest in my eyes.
For his power changing, couldn’t you argue that it is because he is getting used to this new body since he has never fused beforehand? Correct me if I am wrong because I’m no expert.
This video just made me realize how helpless even Jiren would have been against Infinite Zamasu... I mean, wow! What incredible power he had at the end of this arc. I mean, he even made Whis uncomfortable, and that's certainly a feat that Jiren has never done.
When Fusion Zamasu has 1 half purple and 1 half green, that's not his mortal and immortal halves, as in, Goku Black is his right half, and Zamasu is his left. That's just weird. His right arm and side of his face are just where he happened to take hits, and his immortality made it regenerate wrong. Any other part of his body would look like that too if that's where he got hit.
Loved the future trunks arc think it's underrated.... Danny just watched the funimation red carpet at the broly premiere you looked like a boss in your suit!! Love the channel long time sub keep up the good work

Wonder if you would have considered Zamasu successful. Most of the villians never achieved their goals. Zamasu wanted to destroy mortals and with Zeno wiping out the time line he kind of got his wish

People sleep on Zamasu. Easily my favorite Dragonball villian by far. Those faces in the sky creeped me the hell out honestly.
nah bruh nobody sleeps on him

you can see so many people even having a pfp of goku black and if you really play dragonball games or you're deep in the db community then you could see that he actually has a huge fanbase
no zamasu as a character is fine it's the ARC that's bad
Then again, I guess that’s to add variety to the fights because otherwise, everything becomes too scripted and obvious because the best form or strongest character will always win every single altercation so willpower and skill are factored in
Fused zamasu also turned into ssj rose before fighting vegito
But his hair didnt change but his aura and power did
I love how crazy Zamasu is as a character concept.

Jiren would SLAP Merged Zamasu LMAO. What are you on about? Merged Zamasu never went above time like Jiren casually did.
@@extremelyboredtatsumaki.495 Ehh I dont know. Jiren hasn't shown the power to affect timelines yet.
99sonicrocks
Neither did Merged Zamasu.

Love this series!
MrPomegranX [Matoi] me too
Yes I've been waiting on this for the longest.
Zamasu fucking won, by himself, in the DB Universe. That's how fucking strong he was
He became a "conceptual power" like Eternity and Master Order/Lord Chaos from Marvel.
My boy geek I back with another banger
SUP geekdom your awesome, love the channel👍😎
The only villain who actually WON...
One of my favorite Dragon Ball discussion series. Thanks for the video Geekdom!
Technically infinite Zamasu can not be defeated by any one except for Zeno, not even Jiren that transcends time can't defeat infinite Zamasu since Jiren cannot destroy time lines & universes like Zeno does to get rid of infinite Zamasu.
Zeno and Daishinkan*
Ah merged zamasu, the one character I can't use in dragon ball fighterz
M4J1N Down why? He’s my main. He’s. Beast when u get crazy block strings and pressure going
I just can't get the hang of him, he's a great character but it's just not for me
Bruh infinite zamasu literally ended up causing the multiverse to be wiped away, that was literally the threat in t.o.p, but don’t forget infinites zamasu’s actually threat threatened other timelines in anime, that’s literally terrifying power right there
Great video, I never really thought about Zamasu's nonphysical form like that. That's pretty damn powerful.
Ah yes "ZALASU", indeed very strong
I loved how dark this arc felt. Like the z fighters might not see a way out of this. I would like to see more writing done this way, or deep sci-fi theory type arcs!

jamaine gardner No he couldnt. only ZENO could get rid of Infinite Zamasu.
Nice video, looking forward to the continuation of this series!
Cold Ham on Rye
Glad we agree

Btw, I am not watching your review videos because for the first time, I'm not allowing myself to watch any spoilers from those who have seen the movie as I want to go see it in the movie theatre and help show more financial support for it so to help encourage a stronger return for Super in 2019.
Omega can literally erase his universe form just by existing
Great video! With Merged Zamasu doing all of this makes me feel bad for future Trunks in a way and what he goes through.
What Goku did at the end of the saga was something he should've did from the beginning because there's no point of fighting an immortal and Trunks, Mai, and the rest of the survivors would've been okay in another timeline.

I doubt that’s the case. I think it’s just some bullshit Toei power scaling
