For the record, I work in mental healthcare and I personally know, hang out and am related to several people with mental health issues and disorders and *none* of them talk about their conditions more than Gabbie Hanna. It’s extremely atypical of someone with actual mental health concerns to be so loudly and excitedly discussing their diagnoses. Take that as you will...

Secondly, because the only time she seems to demonstrate behavior that fits the pathology is when she’s needing or intending to excuse or explain her actions/choices *and* only when those actions/choices are being criticized by an audience. She may behave similarly in private without needing this kind of social prompting but we can’t know that...I still sincerely doubt it. She’s a Trisha, only more aimed toward pardoning her deplorable behavior.
I do think it’s less common but I wouldn’t write it off completely, in her case she’s just really cringe tbh and I don’t even like using that term, but some people with mental health issues have been waiting for the chance to get a diagnosis and be validated by that for years.
i mean, people find it weird but it does give her attention and she knows it. i think that would be a solid reason for her to go on and on about her mental health issues all the time
