I checked this out right after she was crowned Miss SA. Tbh I actually preferred the RU Sasha Leigh at first, but I knew she was a strong speaker that would get her far. But her style and looks really increased over time. She worked really hard, and really deserved it!!
I'm so happy that she won the title of Miss Universe 2019.... before it was just a thought that Dark beauty could never won the crown but after 2011 when I'm starting to watch these pageants I realised that . In 2011 Angola now after 8 years South Africa. She really deserved it. In Question Answer rounds how spontaneously she gave her answers the whole world impressed by her. Her answers were not stereotype , different from other contestants and it was practical. So so Glad she won the Miss Universe title. The first black woman to ever win the miss universe is Miss Trinidad and Tobago Janelle Commissiong back in 1977 she also took the Miss photogenic prize, the second black Miss universe is again Miss Trinidad and Tobago Wendy Fitzwilliam, she took the best national costume prize, in 1999 Miss Botswana Mpule Kwelagobe won the Miss universe contest, then came Miss Angola Leila Lopes in 2011and now in 2019 we have Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi flying the flag...

Tyrone Mawela, yes they do. Miss USA, Cheslie Kryst, was sharing the apartment with Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray, until Zozi took over as Miss Universe 2019.
I watched both Catriona & Cheslie being interviewed together on the Build series. They mentioned how busy they both were, flying all over USA & all over the world for Catriona, they never had a lot of time together. The apartment is just a base. Zozi will be working all over the world while Cheslie continues with her Miss USA projects.
But yea, it could be problematic if they were incompatible & always in each other’s space.
I just think the organisers are also saving money. Good NYC apartments are not cheap.🤷🏾♀️

Let's just say these are opinions and people are entitled to their own. Personally I am physically more attracted to Zozibini, and I find the way she speaks is more stimulating than Catriona and Pia. I watch Pia's travel shows, BTW. This opinion may not apply to everyone.
I’m a Filipino but I’m sorry but Miss South Africa speaks better than Catriona. I love the way Zo’s speaks because of her vocabulary. The way she speaks it’s straightforward and there’s more substance.
