I might change my opinion later, and only reacting to the Stern video. So far to me it seems to be just another step along a never changing lack-of-innovation plateau. Not saying it’s going to be a bad game, just saying it’ll be like my other games, only a different theme. Where’s the next BIG idea in pinball? Wish I was smart enough to come up with one, but unfortunately I’m not, so I must wait for one of these manufacturers to do it.
That loop ramp and the middle ramp being accessible by 3 different flippers is shot geometry never seen in pinball before. There's a lot of subtle nuance in innovation on this pin.
@@lobsterman5786 I'm with you on other innovations though. I've always had it in my mind if somehow the mechs can become wireless, then we could get modular parts on the playfield itself that would move during a game in places we haven't seen before. Basically have modes completely change the shot geometry at different parts of the playfield.
I give this guy a hard time but dude your video content and quality has stepped up big time... big kudos to you... just one thing Elvira and gb both have subways and metallica also has a visible subway. Keep up the good content.
I think it looks absolutely amazing.. Ive got an extra Kidney for sale for the price of a NiB LE if anyone is interested!! Lol.. im ready to see the gameplay and code layout!
Stern hit a home run with this one. I'll probably catch heat from this comment but I like the Pro better. The Pro art work shows the Avengers instead of mostly Thanos (The premium back glass is admittedly awesome but the pro backglass is great too). While the premium subway is neat, I think the raising platform to get to the subway will break after so many hits. There is just one rod there, you have to hit it to get to the subway and it's only going to take a little bit to bend that and then the platform won't go down anymore. And subways get dirty. Hopefully I'm wrong and people getting the premium don't have problems with the subway but for me it's Pro all the way, just replacing the picture gauntlet with a molded after market one. Should be an easy swap. And the extra side blade art of course
According to a comment by Stern on FB, there are issues with the TMNT topper. But don't forget there are still two games ahead of TMNT waiting for toppers. I bet we won't see the AIQ topper for quite a while.
Also...not the brightest in choice of characters as this doesn't incorporate Spider Man considering he's the most popular Marvel comic character from comic enthusiasts and then advertising on marvel.com
& just when I thought Stern couldn't pull off a more empty playfield. Stranger Things was a piece of crap, but it at least had ONE toy. Meh, just a couple cool ramps & gimmicks. Not impressed or excited one bit for this one. Personally not a fan of cartoonish, comic book style games either & it's starting to get really old seeing the same damn properties that already have pins in the past (TMNT, Jurassic Park, etc) Whether they wind up being good games or not, can we have a LITTLE more originality & freshness? JEEZ.
Thank you sir for squeezing out some insightful, helpful comments based on video release only, w/out actual hands-on review which can come later.
Huge plus for the subway, crazy wireform ramps and standup targets!
Gameplay streams are next week. Wednesday 9/9 at 5pm cdt for prem/le on Dead Flip; Friday 9/11 at 3pm cdt for pro on Marvel's twitch channel.

Ok, that’s a good feature! Agree.

MarvLoco the wireless toy idea is brilliant!
I like pro side art with the premium back glass.
Agreed, I have the Turtles LE and impatiently waiting for the accessories!
Me too, but it's just the topper what we need right?
And shooter knob maybe
Looks great, especially the LE. Good job, thanks!

Best consistent pinball streamer!

That's an interesting take. Nothing wrong with liking what you like. Pro art work is pretty sweet!
I like those drops!

Multiple distributors have said November is the timeline for accessories. Now whether that actually includes the topper is up in the air.
Looks like the pro still has the drop targets?
yup!

Please let there be coop
Fun for the price
Wait, are you playing against Thanos, or AS Thanos???
against. Website description specifies it and the insert in the middle of the playfield says, "Battle Thanos".
You never answered your own question lol, do you regret getting tmnt now that avengers dropped?
Not yet at least. We shall see how it shoots next week.
