Thank you all for posting this meeting for all of us to gain knowledge on dizziness. I go thru these dizzy episodes two or three times a year. Always wake up with them. I've just let them run there course and this could last for hours and sometime I do get sick. Always comes on after sleeping. So today I did the exercise to move the fluids in my ears. Amazing within less than 10 minutes, and I'm feeling fine.
Thankful for again a understanding of what is going on with my health.
FYI, yes I'm very sensitive to motion sickness too!
The fist time I had a dizzy spell was after sleeping on a waterbed back in 1980. Took a MRI to find nothing was there but just making myself motion sick while sleeping. I can say now this is a funny story but it did take months to finally figure out what was going on. No more waterbeds in my life. Lol

Have to say that this seminar answered a lot of the questions I had, having being diagnosed as suffering from BPPV. I’m to be referred to a physical therapist to learn and experience the Epley Manoeuvre. However, listening to this excellent explanation of possible Vestibular issues gave me confidence that I haven’t just had a near death experience, tho’ it felt like it at the time of my ‘collapse’. I’m encouraged to recommend that anyone who has had the ‘spins’ and nausea I had, to watch this before or after going to their GP.

Thanks, to all of you. As I study for my USMLE 3, it is now clear that the HallPike Maneuver is Dx vs Pike's, which is treatment in case of Postetior Canalolithiasis.
    Thanks

Thk you. I've watched a few on Vertigo however there's not a lot that mention my symptoms.
Onset feeling a little light headed then I know Vertigo episode is coming on..I take Stemitil ...then getting hot, sweaty then dizzy nausea vomiting can't get up off the floor. Have to lie down, wait can be an hr for the vomiting to subside..if I am able to situp....as this has happened at work.....to get someone to drop me home. I immediately have a quick shower as I'm sweaty...go straight to bed with a bucket beside me...usually sleep...at times..can wake again with vomiting...after a sleep say 2-3 hrs I maybe able to get up. But have to take the next day off of work as I am exhausted feel just off! None of the videos I've watched mentioned this. My ENT said the hairs in my ears have died which causes my low ringing in my ears. I was diagnosed with Vestibula Vertigo

I have had the same- Try positioning yourself on your knees with the crown of your head on the floor so you are looking down between your knees. Stay for a 3-5 mins. Usually makes the spins much much less so I can stand and walk and most importantly stop vomiting lol… never deafness in 1 ear for me and vertigo is seasonal so it comes on in winter only thankfully not year round.

    Good evening
    Majid Iqbal from Pakistan
    Respected Sir
Being a vertigo patient, I want to share my feelings on vertigo.
It is all about stomac reflux. When I get stomac upset with reflux, the reflux with gas gets into ear by canal located in the throat. It crests disturbance there. First man gets eacho in the ear then episode of vertigo. It distrubs Crystal in the ear what it does, it is up to doctor who can explain the reason but it happens in the same way I have explained my observation with this disease. It may also cause nerve weakness due to constant gas reflux disease or constantly stress which disturbs stomach.
I think these two causes may help in vertigo studies.
I am now 44 years of age now facing this problem almostly from 5 Years.
    Thanks
