I feel your pain on voice actors, I once asked my friends to read some lines and they gave the most dry emotionless response I've ever heard, with nothing but off timing or missing ques.
I think there’s a site called Calling Club, or something like that. There’s loads of artists and voice actors who are looking for work there. Just thought it might be useful to you.
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios Casting Call Club, it's mainly a hub for Voice Actors to find work, paid or unpaid. You end up finding lots of good voice talent, mixed in with some rookies who just started learning voice acting. But mostly, you'll find good voice actors by talking to project creators or contacting the VAs directly or through a more private group, since voice acting hubs are harder to come by, what with most of them winding up gone. Take Voice Acting Alliance, for example.
I'm afraid to even try voice acting because I'd expect the best qualities of my voice escape me when I try reading lines dry and I fumble all over the place when live reading/speaking.
that's why you tell them what you're expecting to hear. you direct them, help them get to something in line with your vision while hearing them out too.
With one big difference And that is genndy usually has thinner lines which make his cartoons appear lineless While Roastedstix uses thicker line weight so he can see what he or she is animating due to the backgrounds Or he just uses thicker lines
Absolutely incredible work, Bryan! I can see why this took you so long to finish, but this is television quality animation. Love the characters and plot, great designs, the voice acting was tremendous, just simply fantastic!
First hazbin hotel, then cliff side, and now this? Something tells me there is going to be a giant boom in animation! And also this is awesome dude. I like how you set it up in a way that doesn’t show too much at once, but at the same time not to little. Keeping a mystery element to it. 10/10

@@soundywaivy I do not know about robot boy, but for symbionic titan I believe no company picked it up for a toy line. Cartoons require a toyline to keep the funding going and show that their target audience is interested to get renewed for more seasons.
This is way better than a lot of animations from companies, from everything to the music to the near perfect syncing, the voice acting, and the premise. And that humor, spot on!

This was wonderful. How have I not heard of this before now? Also, this gives me a bit of a Bleach/Soul Eater vibe, which is something that I personnally consider a bonus, since they’re both franchises that I love.
Im sure he is but it's super difficult to get the ball rolling and once it does you have to have almost radio silence due to contractual obligations and itll kinda kill the hype they can also take it cancel it in a season and keep the rights for it so there's a lot of variables to take into account
I really like the art style and the animation is very polished. If i may criticize it a bit, i don’t get to really know the main character at all. She spends most of the short asking questions, to the point that its a bit annoying. Totally agree, usually in these kind of supernatural job stories, the protag does something that causes them to need to/be worthy to do the job, but in this Katie's just kinda being strung along without much agency. The animation's is definitely on point though.
My problem more so is that it isn’t answered because “it just can’t be”, but she’s made to do it?? It’s putting too much emphasis on secrecy. Why did she have the scythe without knowing what it was? Why was she doing it(I get she’s a reaper, but feels like something is missing to make sense of it). Then it seems like she knew what she was getting into and no longer questions it?? Did she know she was becoming a reaper? Did she not?

This is a really great show. The intro and style remind me of “Villainous” and the storyline seems like a cross between “Danny Phantom” and “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy”. Overall really amazing work.
I see some ez fix story telling flaws that can improve the story greatly, but the animation is on point. Idk if it's the same guy that does the animation and storytelling but again, animation is great

The pacing felt a bit weird, and some of the animation/voice-acting fell a bit flat, but I assume most of that is due to the smaller scope of the production. I'd assume this was created more as a pilot episode to show off to studios and hopefully get some backing. With a Studio's support, this could turn into a fantastic show.
To be fair, they did say it was their job to help him move on to the afterlife. So even if he wasn't a bad guy he didn't exactly belong in the mortal realm anymore.
Камилла Рашитова its more so that they’re morally grey; its more like doing a job you don’t like but its a job you have to do. Like the guy kinda doesn’t have a choice, he sorta needs to go in the afterlife
I think that’s the point tho. He was murdered (as evidenced by the yellow tape and blood everywhere), and it’s the Grim Reaper’s job to help souls transition to the afterlife- whether they want to or not. Plus, I don’t think the guy was fully aware that he was dead: there was multiple points in the pilot where he seemed dazed or confused by what was going on. It’s not an easy job, but someone’s gotta do it.
90 percent of comments: "Why didn't youtube reccomend me this earlier this is amazing" 10 percent of youtube comments: actual criticism i really enjoyed this. i didn't find the characters annoying like some people did for this episode if it keeps up i could find it annoying, but for one episode it was fine. in a lot of cartoons and shows like the first episode to fairly odd parents and grim adventures of billy and mandy the main characters ask a lot of questions. my criticism is the action needs to be more fast paced. it wasn't bad, but a longer action scene wouldn't keep my interest this was really good though and I enjoyed it i had a feeling that it was like a classic cartoon from the early to mid 2000s but with very modern animation looking forward to episode 2

Mostly because i write a lot in my free time and and wattpad, google drive and pages don't leave a lot of space with one "return" key. So I add more. It's usually more than needed I know there is formatting with pages and google drive, but i usually do't use those
Gramps sounded like Arthur Morgan from Red Dead at some points(ex: 3:08), love it. Voice acting is good and I like the designs. I’d like to see more of the story though. It’s interesting you should continue making more of these.

It looks like something that reminds me of Genndy Tartakovsky's works, with Rob Renzetti involved in the art style. Yet, the obvious difference is the exclusion of Joel Valentine's familiar sound effects.
Animation quality is beyond professional. Art style is amazing and recognizable, even if the fight choreography is a bit stiff. And for a short pilot it shows a lot of potential. Can't wait to see more of this.

from my understanding its like this: ghosts get bored in our realm and they cause trouble for the living to relieve that boredom so the "reapers" (as i call them) send them to the other side so they don't cause trouble for the living.
When they say “They don’t make them like that anymore”, that clearly doesn’t apply to indie animators! This is beautiful work! I’ve wanted to see this animation style return for years!
I actually enjoyed this. This caught my attention when RUclips recommended this. And imagine my surprise when this was published a year ago. And I can tell I will be looking forward on what the Characters will be like in the future episode

Animation quality is beyond professional. Art style is amazing and recognizable, even if the fight choreography is a bit stiff. And for a short pilot it shows a lot of potential. Can't wait to see more of this.

from my understanding its like this: ghosts get bored in our realm and they cause trouble for the living to relieve that boredom so the "reapers" (as i call them) send them to the other side so they don't cause trouble for the living.

When they say “They don’t make them like that anymore”, that clearly doesn’t apply to indie animators! This is beautiful work! I’ve wanted to see this animation style return for years!
I actually enjoyed this. This caught my attention when RUclips recommended this. And imagine my surprise when this was published a year ago. And I can tell I will be looking forward on what the Characters will be like in the future episode
