I love this!!!!! Usually I don’t mind being noticed but I never make a statement with my clothes, I can speak for myself. Fashion can be performance art or communication for others and that’s totally okay! I just hate it when people won’t accept that some of us genuinely only dress for ourselves. For me it’s important to have “safe” outfits to wear around those people because I get mad when they think they know me better than I know myself. Also for days when I just feel extra sensitive or self-conscious!
I love this video~~we all have those days when we don't want to be looked at (for me it was yesterday on a windy, rainy day running errands). I am a 5'9" Soft Dramatic and for me that meant wearing a huge black hoodie with black leggings, black trucker hat, and black rain boots with over-the-knee socks in cream. The hoodie did have big colorful applique patches on it, but that was the only color. It's the closest I can feel to being a petite gamine when I dress that way, haha, and it makes me not linger anywhere and just get in and out of where I need to go. Much needed on certain days! (and I can wear a bralette instead of a wire bra on those days which is a huge plus!) Thank you!!
ahh yes it can be so hard for soft dramatics to not be perceived- so tall and elegant! i hope you always have a lowkey and comfy outfit for when the mood calls for it :)

I totally feel you. There are soooo many intentions behind dressing and i think it's foolish to judge a book only by its daily outfit haha.
