as a member who works as a pool cleaner at a waterpark, it really depends on the pools size if its like a giant wave pool, the thrusters turn into a little vacum and pull any loose objects like jewlery etc. and if its in the kid area we usually send someone in there to clean it and shock it.
13:00 Ive been working at my local pool and before the renovation we would pick up whatever we can and then drain the pool and close for the day and refill so we can open the next day. But we got a renovation so now we pick up what we can but also have to close the pool for up to a week depending on how bad it is to let the pool filter it out since the new pool isnt designed to let alot of water in or out so draining it will cause alot of damage and be expensive to fix. No one's pooped our pool but we've had a kid stand and pee on the concrete and his mom, (who let him btw and she got mad that we asked her to not let it happen again). We've also had 4 people poop in both the girls' restrooms before. There are a lot of bodily fluids at a pool, including a lot of blood. And rarely puke, but it's happened before.

i’m not a waterpark employee but I went to a swimming pool one day when I was really young and a kid took a big poo in the water and that part got closed off for the whole day we could only swim in one of them which didn’t have poo in it it’s probably got a lot more sanitary now they used to just pick it out with a net and disinfect everything
