I don't usually buy new parts straight away until the next version but jumped the gun and ordered 3 of these. Let the diamonds burn... had my fair share. Good to see someone actually flog these.
It looks good, but I also love watching you fly. I've been flying for 6 years. And every time I look at 1 of your videos, I find something that I want to try.
I'm very excited about this FC, the BetaFPV cross was the only FC I could get locally for the longest time and that doesn't have a built-in VTX so adding that made my F75 builds over 24g. That Rip outside has me speechless, those stalls and rewinds were amazing! Looks super floaty, love it
Not just you, I noticed that as well. I ran it on 25 and 400 with similar results. However, I am also using a crappy old ufl antenna I found on the bench. I lost the one the 5in1 came with. So far, the review videos I've seen haven't had such poor signal, so I'm assuming the ufl was my culprit
Mine was soldered on. The thumbnail pic and the one I show in the video on the FC was right after I took it out of the packaging. I hadn't done anything to it yet.
@@InfinityLoops yeah can’t complain too much but I bet the ELRS works better on the 5in1 then the flat antenna receiver the Air65 and 75 come with as well. Ah well luckily they are way cheaper than buying X12’s. All my 1S builds with X12’s will be now going to 2S quads. Nice going from not having decent FC options to having quite a few now.
Parts of it supposedly were. Apparently the power output issue has been somewhat resolved, but it's still having a problem with floating channels. At this point it's not legal for Whooptopia, and probably other major races. From a freestyle standpoint you're good to go though!
I couldn’t care less about the black box. If they made the aio without it and sold it for like $45, I would buy all of them. I’m still gonna try this regardless, but I believe that the majority of pilots don’t care for the in depth nerd stuff. But it’s good to know that this exceeds the diamond in your opinion. Thanks for the video
This opinion seems to be the opposite of what the community wants. Ever since the AIO craze with whoop etc there was a large shortage of lightweight blackboxed AIOs so this is indeed bringing something people wanted and asked for.
There are 4x 5a ESC on board. The 5a is the rating for continuous. Usually 5a ESC can handle spikes a bit higher, just not great to do that for long periods. 👀How do you know I went over 5a? 👀
@@InfinityLoops So in essence, it means 25A total? Does this apply to other ESCs? Like for example, If i get the speedybee 50A ESC, that really mean its 50A per motor? By the way, I'm ablosutely sure that you went beyond 5A with your awesome flying, because i own Air65 and i easily go above 5A sometimes :) But i guess that OSD shows total current, not per motor. Thanks for response!
No, 20A, but we usually don't add the 5's up, because each one is independent to the one motor it drives. But 4x 5a ESCs means you want to keep motor output in the 1s area. 50a on that FC you're referring to likely means 50a 4-in-1 ESCs. Much like the above example, 50a continuous or less drawn per motor.
Yes, very similar, minus a few things. This FC is using a new MCU and the ICM gyro. It also includes built-in BlackBox, and I believe more free UARTs. It is also slightly heavier than the SuperX. Some of the major differences.
Blackbox on whoops? Whoop whoop! Totally. VTX 400 mW, is also sufficient. I hope that ELRS is officially supported for that board. Why did you go for 2 blades when flying so aggressively though? If you say efficiency, I'll wonder why you run at 96 instead of 48 kHz. Just asking though.
Bi blades for the feel more than anything. I left the board on 96 just because that's how it comes out of the box 😄 I would normally flash bluejay at 48.
Hi I am interested in getting into FPV,so do you build FPV for sale ,and can you please tell me if the radio that I have can work, I am Ainsley from Trinidad and Tobago and the radio that I have is a futaba 14sg can this be used to fly fpv?
It was a funny comment left on a video a while ago. It's become a catchphrase from our streams now. I use a TTS robot voice to read chat on stream while I fly. He didn't like her too much ☹️
@@InfinityLoops hahahahahahahaha funny answer man, just describe it as u did or since ur expert tell the difference in flight between old and new fc, thx mate
I'm no expert, although I appreciate the compliment 😄 I'm being honest when I ask what else you'd like me to do with it. I've never heard this comment before on a FC video, so if I can change something, I gladly will. Thank you for the comment 🙏
Just so you know , we're testing it on QS now. Drop into the server and ask ;)
Already did! Thanks a lot man. Can't wait 🥑
It's a great FC for sure. I've been ripping it for a couple of weeks and I'm in love with it

Great review. I feel properly informed about the product and can't wait to buy 2 or 3 of them
Crazy Flying! Hope the FC will be reliable in the long run.
that shirt heads - the best! oh and you riiiiiiiip it mad as always!
This is exactly what I wanted.
Don’t really need the black box personally…but I’m happy betafpv released this.
Looks great. I'll definitely be picking some of these up.
Love the reviews and flight footages but I'm equally here for the jungle.
Come oooon there has to be something. Its betafpv
Jk honestly got 2 new whoops from them to try, loved it
bro smooth and freaky wit it fr, fractal sux tho
Great review and video!!
Wanted to know,
Is the internal receiver UART or SPI based?
UART, I reckon
Heck yeah let’s go 👌👊🏻
Heads iz DA bezzzzt🥳🤓🤙
good stuff! interested in trying the neuron one sometime they also have a 20-amp 5 aio you might wanna try!
waited a week and bought two of them when I was perusing their store.
Thas fire!!🔥🔥🔥
is it me or is the vtx signal not the best tho? how many mimiwatts were present during the rippage?

+1👍💪website shows copper RX wire unsoldered. is it pre-soldered or no?
Mine was soldered on. The thumbnail pic and the one I show in the video on the FC was right after I took it out of the packaging. I hadn't done anything to it yet.
Guess I have to order another two FC's!!
Literally a week ago I ordered two of the 4in1's D:

@_tcmore Yes! There are a lot of good options again, finally.
!! Dope
Heads can you share your rates? Dope flying as always..
Thank you 🙏
I fly default Betaflight rates. 667 on all axis, 0 in expo
BetaFPV said the vtx issues have been resolved now

Lol I'd agree on the blackbox take. I don't personally ever use it. Minus the rare occasion I send Beans some info for a tune.
😢 I like the blackbox, and since it has one you guys who don't tune will have access to proper tunes.

5A ESC - is it 5A per motor or 5A total? During flight you sometimes go beyond 5A...

@@InfinityLoops Thank you very much for the answer!
how do you think this compares to the happy model x12?
I've only been using x12s for 2s builds lately. If you're looking to build 1s, I'd use this one over an x12.
Very cool. OSD isn’t 1 so it’s a 5-1 fc
My brain 🫠
BLACK BOX!!!
i think its pretty similar to mobula 2024 flight controller. are there any major differences ?

@@InfinityLoopsthe price😅 and why nobody talks about the nbd v3 race ...it s 12amp

Will beta be selling this as a air 75 or just with the 4 in 1?
That's a great question, I'd assume they would eventually. We'll have to wait and see.
By the way 4in1 plus RX weighs less than the 5in1.
@@genericgarbagegamingchanne9466 yea. After watching a few vids. I’ll do just that. Thanks.
What about vtx power and noise on channels? I want to buy an aio for whoop for race competitions.
Don't get this one for that. I've heard recently that it has been banned from Whooptopia because of a VTX drift issue, I believe.
@@InfinityLoops The same as 4in1 aio, unfortunately... I hope betafpv will do something with this.
I would hope so. A lot of racers would use these or the 4in1 if the vtx would behave. 🤞
@InfinityLoops what is vtx drift ?
The frequency you set in the goggles doesn't stay locked at the specified frequency. It kinda drifts around that number.
Does it quick silver ?
Not yet. But last I checked they are actively working on it. So I'm sure it'll be good to go soon
