Oh that's a great decision ... Trade for an old Carr (1958 Rambler) ... we'll give you Eric Neal, and a Bag of Donuts, and you give us an Old Carr, and a 7th round pick
As a Saints fan I *wish* they would. Heck, we will throw in a 7th as well. If you want a QB who won’t get you to the playoffs, you’ve found your man....
Good video, only point I’d like to add, his cap hit for the saints is indeed 51 mill, but it’d be a little over 40.3 mill for the giants if he’s traded (the rest is signing bonus that for cap space reasons is pushed to this season and future seasons) but would agree the saints would need to take on more money to make a trade work. If you go to over the cap and change the drop down from cut pre 6/1 to trade pre 6/1 you’ll see what I’m talking about
Schoen and Daboll is getting fired this up coming season. With that being said I don't want them drafting a QB at all!!! Give me Justin Fields and draft BPA. These orders should directly come from Mara. I don't want a QB on this roster making over 10 mill. It's a waste of money.
If we don’t take Ward or Sanders in first we are best to wait until the mid to late rounds to take QB. Some of these guys will be available, get a vet QB in the off-season 5-15 mil range and off we go. Take best available players in the draft we have needs almost everywhere
Yea,he dont know what he's doing,so how can media.A jones B Barkley 😢. C.oh no not again. Chicken Wellington couldn't pull trigger on shoe schoen joe schmoe 😢
I really hope they don't trade for Derek Carr or Marcus Mariota or Jimmy Garoppolo or Kirk Cousins or Sam Darnold. I don't want any of those guys. Justin Fields and Jameis Winston are the two QBs I want the Giants to strongly consider for the bridge job in 2025. While they're at it, send the Patriots a draft pick for Joe Milton.
Derek Carr has a nice deep ball. If the Giants run the ball, go deep on play action, and hopefully there will be a stud in Abdul Carter waiting for them at 3. I liked Car in Oakland and still like him. Make the move and draft a QB.
Cmon people this wreaks of desperation. No absolutely not. Under no circumstances. It just shows how listless yhis organization is. Smh. Edit: after what happened with his brother why would he even play for the nyg? C'mon
I would imagine Deoin doesn't want him in Tennessee either lol. Their gm just publicly said he'd rather a Generational talent than to get a qb at #1. Could be smoke though... but i think we're getting Shedur and probably a vet
Derrick Carr is 33. And Maybe later this year, he'll be 34 ... 34 is how old YA Tittle was when he joined the Giants in 1961... Maybe that's a good sign ... Maybe
The good news, If the Giants go after a 'Bridge' quarterback ... that could mean they can solve their Corner-Back problem. Draft the Heisman Trophy winner, and the bonus is: a WR every once in a While ... Best Player Available ... that # 12 Guy ... The Fans won't Bitch if the Giants take BPA ...
Geno Smith would never play for the Giants because of the negative stuff he said about the organization and the on field stuff at Giants(Met Life) stadium in 2023
Oh that's a great decision ... Trade for an old Carr (1958 Rambler) ... we'll give you Eric Neal, AND A Bag of Donuts, and you give us an Old Carr, and a 7th round pick
glg ; Too much money! NY needs a cheaper version of him since they need another OG, a veteran CB, and to keep most of their draft picks. Giants must ensure a better win/loss record in a year where most of their games will be very difficult. They don't have enough cap space, and too much to fix on their team.
The Giants need a professional NFL starting QB. Get Carr or Wilson. Draft a QB to develop and eventually compete. Reunite him with Amari Cooper, who would be a solid veteran replacement for Darius Slayton. Carr’s brother won a Super Bowl with the Giants.
Stop bro. Carr is not it, Winston aint it, neither is Russell. Take Hunter first pick, take Jaxson Dart 2nd round. Dart is mobile and can throw a deep ball. Also invest in a VR system for the QB like Jayden Daniels uses
Carr would be a good Bridge. He does not have the agility that you like to see in a present day NFL QB. But he is way better than Daniel Jones, and better than DeVito. Cap issue is a problem.
Sanders is another Geno Smith but smaller , nothing wrong with that, that is his nfl comp , that is not a number 3 pick, don't reach , did it with Daniel Jones and eli was still there and still paying for it. If we do, we officially the new browns / dysfunctional door mats
Why are Giant fans so desperate to follow the Jets horrible moves at the QB position. Draft Shough from Louisville late and play him, build the roster and come back in 26 draft the franchise QB. Carr will destroy the cap, Sanders and Ward are not 1st rd talents.
@cooldude7821 Obviosly taking a QB who was injured his entire career, was considered draftable after his freshman year and putting a 5th rd pick on him so you can groom a backup with huge upside is somehow a bad move. But overdrafting a 3rd rd project at pick 3 and passing on generational talent in 26 is a brilliant move. OK great lol
I've been saying this for months, I think he's a very good option considering what's available. Our GM has been very good at trades. If we can get the saints to absorb some of the money and do some restructuring of the contract we can make it very team friendly. Carr is good and has potential to be great. He has a good arm and I've watched him will his team to wins. We haven't had that in a very long time. I'd love to see it!
We give the Saints a 7th round pick, they give us Carr and a 3rd round pick? Kidding aside, he is a huge upgrade over Daniel Jones. If we can’t get Sanders or Ward in Round one, grab either Jaxson Dart or Will Howard in Round 2, and go from there.
@ They have Milton on a Rookie Deal. It would take a much higher pick to pry him away. Maybe they can do business, you never know, but the Patriots would hav3 to get something good back to trade Milton away.
Carr and either McCord or Dart, They would be able to compete next year. Ward and/or Sanders aren't franchise must have QB's, Giants wet the bed passing on JJ last year.
They should be fired immediately if they trade for carr 🤢
Thank you.
I agree

Agree with you 100 percent. I prefer they go BPA in this draft and avoid reaching for a QB.
I agree. Justin Fields (who does have much UPSIDE Potential) and that Heisman Trophy Winner as your # 1 pick
@@davissinclair4945 Cam Ward is going to be a stud
Dumpster fires burn out quickly. This is a tire fire.

Giants fans hear us out we will send him With a king cake don't even worry bout a trade just take em an his salary

Let’s throw in a 7th.
And a first if they take Loomis too
He isnt mobile

He resurrected his career nicely in Seattle. I believe Justin Fields and Jameis Winston could do the exact same with the Giants.
He was already in the building once. They disrespected him. The Seattle GM and his agent wouldn’t allow that and then whos the QB for Seattle ?
Oh great let's highlight ALL the craptacular QBs! Giants fans have PTSD from Janiel Dones...🤣
Lol the Giants are going to have to bring in a vet one way or another😂

I say no to Carr, to me that sounds like a short term fix for a long-term problem
OMG, you sound like Gettleman.
Plus there is no reason for NO to do that deal.
Hopefully our new HC (if we can get one) insists on getting rid of Dreck.
We should throw in a 7th if you’ll take him
He plays for New Orleans
He hasn’t played for New Orleans very well ⚜️⚜️
Stop bro. Carr is not it, Winston aint it, neither is Russell. Take Hunter first pick, take Jaxson Dart 2nd round. Dart is mobile and can throw a deep ball. Also invest in a VR system for the QB like Jayden Daniels uses
Dart sucks. Giants ain't taking him in round 2.
What's a VR ... Virtual Reality ?
David Carr + a 2nd round flyer (Howard or McCord) would be IDEAL.
But idk why the saints would trade Carr, he actually had a good year...
He went 5-5, got injured twice and throws his team mates under the bus.
That’s not a good year
Why get rid of a vet that actually likes being here then drafting a rookie qb? That's backwards IMO
Keep Slayton
Carr would be a good Bridge. He does not have the agility that you like to see in a present day NFL QB. But he is way better than Daniel Jones, and better than DeVito. Cap issue is a problem.
DJ & Carr suck. Rather have Deacon Winston for 5 mil.
You smoking dust if you think giants will be a playoff team next year.
KEEP DEMON CARR OFF MY TEAM
