Their passive/counter-punch style really catches a lot of teams off guard. No hero plays also, everything off of util and comms. Boring but effective, reminds of of Astralis from CS or the San Antonio Spurs from the NBA

I wouldn’t call it “passive” but definitely counter-punching. They use just enough utility to get the info needed but still survive and also have some utility left for the counter-punch later on in the round; gotta love it! After being giants in the LEC, G2 are now the giant slayers in Valorant!

They’re very slow pace when it comes to their game and with that comes alot of antis and mid round availability
See idk how a coach or a igl hadn’t picked up on it and essentially allowed them to play that way basically asking to fall asleep
In my own opinion NeT was a way better option igl long term then valyn mainly because he didn’t have to wait till they were down 10 rounds to have a read
This event is pretty fraudulent nonetheless half the teams that even made it shouldn’t of made it the stage 1 format has to be one of the worst it because it can literally reward bad teams if their not on the same group as them look at kru and lev as examples fair kru didn’t qual but whoever thought lev shoulda qualed ur out of ur mind

You clearly haven’t been watching Shanghai, I will agree that leaf was by far the best player in playins but he hasn’t been doing nearly as well against prx and th in playoffs.
@@vincentrumbiolo877 true, in playoffs overall trent was pulling high numbers. dominated ascent against TH and went 51/37 against prx. almost reminds me of trent in his prime in 2022
