To be honest, there wasn't much colour, well except shades of grey! Also I used a filter when editing that seems to have reduced it further. Still some colours in there though.
Named storms are generally more potent than an average autumn gale. Whilst they aren't new, the dangers associated with them are the same every year regardless.
I generally don't respond to these comments as they are either along the line of "snowflakes over-reacting to a bit of wind" or "media trying to call everything climate change these days". Always some agenda... Someone will be along soon to post it is punishment from God! Those just get deleted!
Greetings from far away (🇦🇺🦘), as a regular visitor to this lovely part of the world ( although, never in November 😳) , I’m always amused by comments that you have a milder climate than the rest of the UK 😎
i love storms and crashing waves
I love the remoteness, the sounds of nature.
The strong old stone walls are beautiful.
3.28 - love the shot of the solitary man and bird watching.

Beautiful, angry seas!
Beach in the winter love it ❤
Its the only time I like the beach, thought I was the only one!!
@birdlover9082 yes it's great because there are less people around not crowded. Love wrapping up warm to take a stroll .
@@melgrant7404 Yes you said the key word, very few people, and walk and walk!
And you can easily find a beach to yourself! Bliss!
Wouldn’t buy a second hand car from Porthleven mind you 😮
I’m from Looe loved the storms as a kid, great vid 👍🫶
Great footage, strongest winds still to come!
Yes. Wind and swell peaking overnight.
@cornwallguide did you manage to get any footage?
As stated this is just like a normal winter storm i Porthleven,Lived there for 7yrs.
Stunning! Always wanted to go to Cornwall, hopefully someday soon x
Noooo! Do Not go & stand on the slipway to get a closer look!
@@sarahstrong7174 shush sarah
This is Porthleven, near the Lizard. I used to go every year. Stunning place.
very lovely scenery with
bright sunshine makes me
want to go sunbathing(🥶)
thanks for this video 😂❤
This is why I didn’t step outside the door yesterday. It is a beautiful area but I can’t enjoy being out in this weather
Every time there is an heavy storm I keep saying that want to go to Porthleven to film it and so far …… haven’t, 😢😢😢 …one day I will.
It gets kind of busy these days. All the spots out of the wind go pretty quickly 😄
This is how I imagine Cornwall
Some waves, ay? 😊 UK. Birds don't seem to mind!
You could easily get swept out to sea by those big waves if you weren't careful, so stay safe everyone' 🌊🌊🌊💜
Is thatporthleven?
Yes. Porthleven with a bit of Marazion and Penzance
some gusty mind
Wicked,,,
This is Porthleven.
where about in Cornwall is this please
Mostly Porthleven
And penzance
Woooooshsh! This ll stop the boats in the channel!😏
Really. I doubt it
No i didnt most of the bigger french boats were fishing right through the storm on our 6 mile limit as they do every time there is a storm 😡
The RNLI will be there to rescue
Yeah but where's Bert when you need him in July though?
props to the milkman there, still getting the round in
No more Dingies 😂
I think the causeway to St Michael's Mount may not be open to foot traffic😊
Don't think they'd be running boats either - so cut off til low tide...
can u do a video jumping in sea and jumping out too
I'm not actually a dolphin, so probably no...🙄
short period waves in the coast near of the storm, never go too big, is more lime a chaos mingled waves, but not too big
The Porthleven buoy peaked at 23ft and 11 seconds period that evening. So fairly chunky.
pls do more storm walk videos
get your hands off my cornish pastries.
pasties.
What's happened to the colour ?
To be honest, there wasn't much colour, well except shades of grey! Also I used a filter when editing that seems to have reduced it further. Still some colours in there though.

How would the surfers like this?
Speaking as one, not a lot! Although the surf on the other coast wasn't particularly big this day.
Empty lineup, peaks off the breakwater into the safety of the channel, stormy and beautiful. Im scratching my head why is no one out?
AND NOW THE BEACHES ARE RUINED WITH SEWAGE

Milder for sure. Also much wetter and windier - and that's just the summer :)
