But however, people buy s3 mini because samsung has many fans. HTC has less fans, even though its specifications is slightly better, still less people brought desire X. Great phone for the price. Would have to be the best option in the low to mid range segment of the market. It's well made, has really nice "premium" feel to it, and the the screen doesn't look grainy or pixilated at all. The 4" form factor is also perfect for my wife, who simply didn't want or need a huge 4.7"+ screen. This size is still very relevant to a lot of users. Sense UI is also fantastic, much more intuitive and easy to use than other brands. I highly recommend this phone!

I picked it up for £190 so that's a bargain I feel! If 720p or a front camera is a big deal to you dont buy it. For those that dont care about those things, go for it!

@TheRabstah124 hey google the specs for the 'code name' - HTC 6435LVW, check out those specs, then you can put your fears to bed, that the galaxy note 2 will rein supreme. Also, with any htc phone I've had, I've never had screen burn after 3 months of usage, like I did with my g nexus, my s2 and my gnote. I'm sticking with htc thanks, you should too :)

Good phone for the price but if you shop wisely, you can get a Nexus 4 for the same price. The only things that set me down are the camera resolution (720 x 480 on a 5MP) that even my mother's iPhone 4 outperforms and it's processor, for God's sake, it's Cortex-A5!!! Even the iPhone 4 can easily outperform it on a singlecore Cortex-A8 processor! Looks like I'm getting the LG Optimus L9.
