I have always admired the concept behind your videos, you never push for buying you just as many of us enjoy apply make up and select the items you'd enjoy. Thank you for that. As for Hourglass, I went for the Lotus, as it has matte blushes and two options for a bronzer, an it was a great choice. The darker bronzer must have been baked longer as you dont pick up much, so you can percectly adjust the amount you want to use. The so called finishing powder warms it a bit, and the combonation works. The blushes are stunning. Even the highlightes are nice if treated with a light hand. Swatch it if you can😉

There are enough people out there with codes, business agendas and reviews of every release. So happy to hear that Lotus is bringing you so much joy!
I really like Hourglass powders. The only downside is that because they swirl different powders you can get an occasional dud that has a poor balance of powders. That happened in my jellyfish palette with one of the blushes where it ended up having almost no blush pigment and was all luminous powder. I wish they would bring back the version from maybe 5 years ago that had dim light, diffused light and the mood exposure blush. Every single shade in that one worked for me. I picked up the dragon this year and the powders are a little off for my complexion. Jellyfish is better.
I have a palette from a few years ago and I never use it! It’s called the Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked. Don’t know why, but I never pick it up. Maybe subtle just doesn’t suit me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on both of these purchases because they look gorgeous on you.
Glad to hear you’re happy with the hourglass palette. They sold out here in Australia in under 8mins - crazy. I missed out, but I think it was a good thing because I already own 4 previous years and I don’t use them enough to justify buying more. I don’t know what it is but I always reach for a single over these palettes. I will take one away with me this Christmas which will make me use it, and yes they are great for travel. Azure definitely has magenta in it! Crown Jewel is more turquoise then purple. Maybe Castle would be the one: it is deep blue with a green/turquoise flip. It is really hard to find a blue-purple shimmer that does not flip magenta...almost all do because of the pigment; it's very frustrating.

I am so glad you liked the Evil Eye palette. This is my 4th year getting these palettes, and by far, the best one. I adore the highlighter, and I think it compares with our beloved PMG Divine Rose one (like you showed) - the Hourglass looks even better than the PMG on my skin tone, something that surprised me. Your eye look is beautiful :)
And the Oasis Glow blush works great for me when I want more of a no-make-up make-up. I have mature skin and it does not accentuate texture on me (I use a very light hand).
I love the hourglass palettes, they’re my annual purchase, price was a little eye watering this year. I went for the light one but the evil eye design. I’m glad hourglass do a better variety in bronzers now, they’re could still be darker but at least they’re not all warm/orange now, the original ones I got years ago were very very warm and I use them on my eyes now I love hourglass formula, it’s definitely in a bit of a league of its own
I have the rose gold 4 pan limited edition palette that was released this year here in the UK and I really love it, but I have the same issue as you that I think both blushes look very similar to each other. I also have the dragon palette and even though I'll use all the powders and they all work for my skin tone I think they are all way too similar. So I think I am set with those two palettes and I don't need to purchase any other one again haha. That being said, I do love them and I'm already making a dent in one of the bronzers and I think I'll get good use of them.
I honestly don’t see any magenta in the Charlotte shade on film. I think it looks just like your sweater-at least on video! (Loved the mint in the inner corner!) The Hourglass looks great on you and that you enjoy it! It looks wonderful for traveling!!

Those Charlotte Tilbury pop shots do vary a bit in texture, a lot of the others are a harder and more sparkly formula! Like the green and the neutrals. Not a fan of the Cosmic Rocks one tbh I only ever wore it once 😶🌫

The eyeshadow you want is one of Azure or Crown Jewel by Clionadh. No magenta or other pink or violet in them.
