FSU has some of the best prospects in this draft. Wr Keon Coleman, Wr Johnny Wilson, TE Jaheim Bell, RB Trey Benson, DB Renardo Green, DB Jarrion Jones, DE Verse, DT Fiske , QB Jordan Travis, this was one of the best teams in rhe nation that was ROBBED of a chance at the National Title
i like renardo green and kinda wish the lions would have taken him instead of rakeshaw but the main thing that would really concern me about him is how much he pulls and tugs on receivers during almost every play in college. every one of those would be a DPI in the NFL but they're allowed to do it in college. it may end up meaning that the guy you think you're getting is not actually that guy if he can't play the way he does without constantly holding on to the receiver.
We’ve missed that physical corner or dominate presence in the secondary since Jimmie Ward has been gone. This is a Jimmie Ward replacement guy, I remember seeing a clip of Shanahan and Ward getting into it on the sideline because Kyle wanted Jimmie to go in and play safety. Jimmie refused because he hadn’t practiced there in awhile and didn’t want to go in and play safety. Well…you won’t get that type of attitude from Ronaldo Green. That interaction between the two of them made me sour on J Ward and I’m glad he’s no longer a Niner.
Green is a Pass Interference magnet...very graby and doesn't look back at the QB like Weatherspoon did ...Bad pick when could've taken a nice pass blocking Tackle from BYU who the chiefs took
