I feel like regardless of ur race/build, heavy armor just has to be the best overall armor u can use. Highest armor rating and most sets give u extra CON making u that much tankier. Sure light armor or robes would be good if u needed extra magic dmg or magic resist, but all enemies do both physical and magic dmg atm, so specific dmg resistances aren't a concern. That and mage is just not great right now... There's a reason everyone uses greatsword and bow...
@@downalmightyIt's balanced. Magic got high damage but trash defense. Physical got medium damage but the best defense. Giving the same damage to both classes would make the physical way too overpowered.

If you are gonna fight Baium or any other boss, go for Robe or Light Armor, other than that, always use Heavy Armor.

mage does atleast 2x more dmg than physical dmg builds rn so idk what makes u think physical dmg is better

i agree with ghost yes heavy armor is great. but with the dex buff going dex armor for gs/bow/dagger is just wayyy better

What is good for a greatsword cyrulean build at level 20? was using heavy tallum armor but I heard light is the best choice
@@cloroi71826 light armor is only good if you are using both str and INT build aka both warrior and mage
So for great sword I would go full strength
