Don’t be surprised if that spot takes a hit when it goes dormant and over winter. Some places in my lawn, similar to yours, were slow to wake up and get going this year. They have filled in nicely, but it might be slow to start. J
Can you cover a grass type that mixes well with Bermuda to add to weak areas (low light). As you pointed out you cannot move a fixed structure. I added Fescue to my Zoysia to address that issue
I won't directly mix grass types, but I would separate sections of my yard. For example, one side bermuda and the other side zoysia. This way, you won't see two different types in the same space. I would not add two grass types in the same space, it would stand out more. Hope this makes sense.
You're probably going to have different-looking grass in the same area if you mix grasses, with some grass blades possibly growing at different rates, and maybe looking patchy. There are other ways to fill in weak areas of bermuda such as nitrogen applications, increasing light access, or aeration to relieve compaction.
Excellent video chock full of simple and effective strategies to build a healthy Bermuda lawn. Thank you.
PACKED FULL OF VALUABLE INFORMATION I MIGHT ADD😊
Another great video. Thanks!
My man! Another great vid!
So what fertilizer you recommend for berm for summer in south Texas it’s really hot out here and don’t want to burn grass
Great video! I have dollar spots and probably due to drainage their brown. But Should poke holes in those spots and add fertilizer?
That may help, but the water needs somewhere to go. I don't know how much slope you have or if you even have any slope.
@@TheALG ok thanks I don't hv a slope

Celcius is a great post emergent to use. I will make a video about it. It's super DIY friendly.
Was this done by seed or sod?
