Wow, Mr. Armani really hated the supermodels. Only models I can name here are Gisele Bundchen, Valeria Mazza, Nadege du Bospertus, Adriana Karembeu, and Liskula Cohen.

I don't think that he hated them.. I think he is a smart businessman. Focus on clothes not model esp with his kind of designs: not flashy. So why take the focus on clothes by hiring supermodels. He hired the so called supermodels when they were still cheap, meaning starting their careers or their careers are starting to fade. Tbh, when Armani was still affordable back then, you touch them, the craftmanship and the fabric are just magnificent. And to think middle class folks can buy Armani, then. Now, it's some kind of Holy trail. I don't like it. It's not grounded anymore. It is 😥

@@mayac.1345 Well that's why you have Armani Collezioni, Armani Exchange, and Armani Jeans. They are more affordable than Giorgio Armani and Emporio Armani.

@@lissandrafreljord7913 what year are we talking about??? Back in the day Emporio was the more affordable armani targeted for the youth. Armani jeans and A/X were competing against the likes of gap and obviously swimwear because you have the likes of Fiorucci, Guess and the like. Nowadays, those lines that you mentioned, have no relevance. Its basically like Ferre jeans or GFF by Gianfranco Ferre. Its not about creating fashionable, stylish clothes nowadays. Its about the brand... Too much focus on the brand. No more depth, craftmanship and basically a respect for the manual laborers in their respective countries of origin.
