Don't think he's taken any notice. To some, dressing up the meatsuit is no different than putting flame decals on an uber when it comes to pick you up. It's not your car, you won't be in it for long, and it will continue even if you expire. This facile attachment to meat is normalised to the point most don't even consider what such vanity does to a free mind.

I think one of the reasons peep show was so good was there are elements of the characters that are reflections of the actors themselves

David Mitchell is always on point with his humour and observations.
The Graham Norton Show puts American Talk shows to shame.... I can watch these all day.
He puts some other British ones to shame too. I think his format of having everyone on at the same time is better, so they can all bounce off each other and Graham guides the conversation between each of them. Far better than just 1 on 1.
Ferguson was the best but not sure if he counts as American

deciding to put Anna Paquin next to David and Robert is the meanest thing anyone has ever done to her. No one has ever seemed more like a wet paper towel than she did, trying to keep up with them.
Yeah. Honestly, it'd be a disservice to most actors - they have a fundamentally different skill set from comedians and inevitably come off as awkward and stilted

I was thinking that too! Though to be fair, he may have been delicately skirting her identity given that they had been horribly taken advantage of by that director re their nudity, and figured that she wouldn't want dragging into anecdotes about it by name.
@@Somnogenesis probably, but since she's won an Oscar you'd definitely use her name. You'd say something like "not only did this director treat me badly, but he did the same thing to Olivia Coleman and she's got an Oscar".
Oh, yes, you'd think. It still slightly blows me away that she's gone from regular support roles in British comedy series/films to being a universally feted Oscar winner. I don't think anyone watching the likes of _Confetti_ or early _Peep Show_ or _Green Wing_ would ever have predicted that!

The irony of Anna Paquin, who starred in True Blood which has quite a bit of nudity, being on the couch with two men who are (even jokingly) more prudish is kind of hilarious. It's just such an odd mix to see hanging out. I think they're all great guests, but I'm sure this was an uncomfortable interaction for her.

Anna Pacquin is not very tall. Why does it look like she's several inches taller than the 2 guys?
Camera trickery, their postures. Mitchell and Webb are the same height, yet Webb appears shorter than Mitchell
Leg length plays a big part. Someone with short legs and average height will have a torso+head that is longer than average, and so can appear taller when seated. I'm 5'10", and a former colleague of mine was 5'4. When we sat next to each other, she was slightly taller than me, because I have very long legs for my height and she had very short legs for her height. That, and she had a rather big bottom that probably lifted her another inch.

David Mitchell and Robert Webb are English, nae British. Britain is a landmass encompassing the three separate countries of Scotland, Wales, and Britain, each with their own language, their own culture, their own cuisine, and their own sense of humour. Graham Norton is Irish and that is a separate and independent nation not located in Britain. Anna Paquin is a New Zealander and that is a separate nation in a different hemisphere. What do they teach in the states? Cor.

Its called active listening which is a skill that sales people are trained in
In other words rather than just waiting for the other person to stop talking so that you can ask your your next question, you listen and then ask a question based on what you have heard from the other person
Most sales people talk to much because they are nervous but a good sales person will be able to listen and then respond to the points you have made
He's a fantastic interviewer. American interviewers need to learn from him.
