    As a family of 4, and now a family of 5, we like to purchase 2 adult plates and split it. Later if we get hungry again, we do the same thing. We also bring snacks and several bottles of water in. We will usually get a big Zero sugar drink to all share as well at some point.
    Glad ya’ll had a great time!

    I don’t have kids yet, but the thought of taking my family to Disney one day sounds wonderful but also wayyy beyond what my anxiety could handle. 😂 It seems like there’s so much you need to know ahead of time. Plus, the amount of people seems overwhelming to me. I’m so glad y’all had a good time, though! I’m sure it’s something your kids will remember forever.

    If you ask for cups of ice water at the restaurants or snack stations, you get as many as you want for free! We didn't buy 1 water bottle when we went to parks for 8 days in a row for 6 people.

    It’s okay to say if you hate it and love it at the same time! Here in California we road trip to Disneyland all the time. We pack a lunch and try not to spend on food/drinks. For kids it’s very overwhelming and not very fun when it’s crowded (which is all the time post Covid ) I feel like Disney is meant for Disney adults 😂 we haven’t done Disney World yet but I don’t think I can handle the crowds there, it’s already miserable enough at Disneyland, as far as crowds go. We’ve been going on and off and we haven’t found a “low crowd” time of year at all! Even in the rain, the crowds come! But it is magical once you’re on the rides and your kids experience them!

    Hi Ashley! As a Disney Travel Planner the 1st thing I would recommend is to planned ahead which rides you will be able to ride as a family (taking into account the height requirements and history wait times) and then which rides probably the big kids will be able to ride alone (after 14 years old you can ride without adult supervision). Arriving early (before park open) is a must to be able to ride some rides without waiting much (it depends on the date). Jungle Cruise always have a long wait so I do not think it was a bad choice to ride it first if that was a must do for your family. Must do for toddlers: Dumbo, Peter Pans Flight (long wait all day long), Tea Mad Party, Buzz Lightyear Ranger Spin, People Mover, Winnie the Pooh, Little Mermaid, Carrusel, Small World, Philarmagic, Jungle Cruise, The Magic Carpets... Then you have Pirates of the Caribbean (includes a small drop) and Haunted Mansion that involves dark parts which might scare little ones. If you want to introduce your kids to roller coasters first try The Barnstormer, then you have Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Big Thunder Mountain. For big kids that like adrenaline they can try Space Mountain and Astro Orbiter. Tomorrowland Speedway is another option for all ages. Also I know for big families its a lot of money but Genie+ for Magic Kingdom is a good option to reduce the waiting in lines and do more rides. Please remember all the Quick Service restaurants provide free water with ice if you needed. I would totally recommend doing the parade to see the characters and Hope next time you can stay to see the fireworks!

    The water bottle refill station you are referring to is inside Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, in the back near the bathrooms, but I always suggest going anywhere with fountain beverages and just asking for a cup of ice water- it's free! There will also be a water bottle refill station near the new Tron ride when that opens.
    Really my biggest tip is use a travel agent!

    For the future, at any quick service location (or any snack place with fountain drinks) they’ll happily give you cups of ice water for free. We usually ask for a bunch, and dump them into our water bottles

    You can ask for ice water at any place with a fountain and they will give you one. Precovid they would fill your water bottles for you.

    Check maybe on the app. I listened to a person about the photo pass or memory maker. On the rides you went on check if it is not on the app even though you did not check in at the other people's things.
    Just forincase you can find a few photo's of your family on the apps on some rides

    Did Galations 3 play a role in your no longer observing Torah, or was it really just the environmental influence of living near your sister and many others who don't observe Torah?

    • @ashleighnicolewilson
      @ashleighnicolewilson  Год назад +1

      This is an interesting question - just because I no longer use the “Torah observant” identifier does not mean that I no longer love the Lord’s instructions, or walk in obedience to the best of my current ability and convictions.

    • @EriPages
      @EriPages Год назад

      @JoyfulChaos Btw, I don't observe Torah.
      To give you context onto who is you asking you the question lol
      I'm asking you because I stumbled upon Galations 3 yesterday and can see why hundreds of millions of Bible readers would believe Torah obedience is no longer necessary.
      And I remembered your video from the other month where I think you said you no longer observe Torah
      So I'm just wondering is it you don't observe Torah like you previously did because of Galations 3 (or other Paul writings), or is it because of environmental influences from moving near your sister and many new non-Torah observant people?
      Just want to understand how you came to change your position on observing Torah

    • @ashleighnicolewilson
      @ashleighnicolewilson  Год назад +1

      Thank you for clarifying! Like I said, very little of my observance has changed (though through study my position on the applicability of certain instructions has changed), but my desire to identify myself as anything other than a follower of Christ has certainly changed!

      Interesting. Thanks for sharing Ashleigh.
