This sit down would have never happened if Tucker was at Fox and Cuomo was at CNN.
Difference was Tucker got fired because he kept going against the narrative, while Cuomo was too corrupt, even for CNN standards.
Probably IS contractually prohibited for cable pundits.

Cuomo lied. So did Tucker Carlson lie to his audience about liking Trump on Fox News and we know that because of discovery in the Dominion lawsuit. In fact his deposition in the Dominion lawsuit clearly pointed out he can't stand Trump and knew he was lying to his audience.

Hes got the Maher syndrome where he knows whats going on with his party, but refuses to come to fully come to terms with it. For sure a breath of fresh air to see him in this light. Net positive all around for this interview.
Rational and respectful discourse is what made America great, and what is largely missing from politics today.
the issue is Chris is only doing that because it's the only option available to him. He's just listening to the vibe of the alt news space and parroting that. If he gets his old job at cnn back he'll return to being divisive without a second thought.

Have you seen the video where Senitor Ted Cruz is grilling a lady FBI director in congress with questions such as "Did FBI agents participate in the events of Jan 6? Did FBI agents commit acts of violence on Jan6? Did FBI agents incite others to violence on Jan 6?"
Her response to each question was "I can't answer that. I can't answer that. I can't answer that."
Since she give a straight "no," the answer was obviously "yes."

Show me one person from January 6th who was prosecuted for causing physical damage to the capitol. Though there are many pictures none of those arrested were the people breaking stuff.
I find Briahna so intellectually dishonest because she knows, in theory, how to acknowledge that people who disagree with her can do so in good faith. She just chooses to not do so and misrepresents positions, and people, she disagrees with. Always.

As for Navalny, it is a pretty weak argument for Putin doing it. Yeah, it's possible but it doesn't really make sense. Putin is in total control with massive support. Why would he bother doing this? Not all deaths around Putin are caused by him.
Same as killing Prigozhn, the timing of Navalny's death makes no sense. I don't doubt that he'd do it but he'd wait to a more opportune time to make the statement.

I agree that Navalny's death was likely not caused directly by Putin. However Putin's actions certainly helped cause Navalny's death. When dealing with authoritarian dictators we probably don't need to split the hairs so finely.

I like how Bri and Robbie discussed this. They have their disagreements but they don’t misrepresent when they’re in their respective spaces. The one time I saw Robbie call her a name, I was aghast! But they both apologized by the end of the segment😊

SHOWDOWN ????? You make it sound like these 2 are having a duel or something . This was a DISCUSSION between two grown men with different ways of thinking . Although I don't have the greatest opinions of Cuomo from his time at cnn ,and the lies they have peddled over the years, it was somewhat refreshing to see an actual conversation and discussion of current and past topics between two men who've been in media for a long time . As much as I can say we need more open discussion of ideas between both parties , I may as well wish for world peace while I'm at it .
Cuomo is more likeable now that he's slightly more humble.
That's what I gained watching this. He seemed much more down to earth, but still struggles with opinions of others that don't matter. I think that holds him back from being truly happy and leaning more to the right.
It only took for him to be fired after he was exposed as a toxic element in the media.

It was two hours. So if they worked till 430. Got home at 5. Ate dinner till 630 they would basically spend the rest of their evening until 830 watching just that interview before getting ready for bed at 9

A good attempt at a conversation without false divisions, which I salute. And, I"m no fan of Tucker- but too bad that Cuomo did not let him speak more freely (he constantly interrupted him, etc..). :/ That said- along those same lines- RFK, Jr is the ONLY presidential candidate who embraces the idea that we must treat ALL others with equal respect and air time, regardless of party~ and respect for each other is how we will move our country forward. The most evolved perspective! (Please vote RFK, Jr 2024...)
