They're not really enemies, tho? If anything, they're frenemies at worse. Ajax straight-up calls MC his friend, told his family about them, says he has days he feels nostalgic about his time with them, said he planned a special day to meet them. That being with them is what makes his life interesting, he invited the MC to his place, etc. etc. He also trusts them enough to give them his vision in Fontaine, and they have playful banter here and there (which the MC reciprocates). The scenes in Fontaine alone confirm that they're at least friends, imo. (btw I'm not here to argue or anything, just to give some info on why I think that if people don't ship them, they're at least canonically friends! … Though this is the only genshin ship I like, so I might be biased.)
