I’m stoked and working towards a full Schlappi system Just ordered a pair to go with the Nibblers. They look amazing, really can’t wait to take them for a test drive. 🔥
Hell yeah!!
Excellent module
Looks and sounds awesome Eric!! Can’t wait to try the Nibbler/BTMX combo!! 🤘🏻
One step closer to a full Schlappi system :p
Can't wait to get one ! Thanks to the team for the good work
heck yeah! That's the goal, thanks so much!
love what this adds to the schlappi system
we're getting there!! glad you dig it!
Oh word. I’ve been thinking about how a matrix mixer might add fun to the system’s various gate sequences and outputs etc. This module seems to do that and more in a playable way. Good times, nice work❤
Thank you! Yeah not exactly a matrix mixer but I've been thinking a lot about ways to treat gate and logic signals in a performable way to offer another modular alternative to traditional sequencing.
I'm gonna need a bigger skiff!
Crazy how that touch of swing bit brought me right to Ministry KEAH (11:03 anybody?)
yes!
@@unfamiliarenvironments hahaha this comment cracked me up. I hear it! Unintentional but a foundational album for me for sure
@@SCHLAPPIENGINEERING I had a feeling you might hear it ha - yeah just a brief moment, something about the combination of the rhythm and the noise…. Felt like any teenager who grew up on it would catch a little vapors haha. Look forward to picking this up when it lands at Signal Sounds, Nibbler is already such a beast, now it’s performative - amazing!
Cool module, can you bypass the logic to hear straight input per channel?
Thanks! no, it has comparators on the inputs and the outputs will always be logic signals (unipolar square waves)
And if you have one static rhythm input, how many different variations can you get across all the channels?
You would really need two inputs (one for each side of one gate) and then you would get four variations (one for each logic type) plus the two original signals available by using OR, XOR, ADD, and muting one side, so effectively 6 variations. Part of the appeal is also having the ability to mix and mute different sources, for example having a kick drum triggered by a clock divider isn't very flexible but if you have two different divisions to select from as well as the logical combinations then you have a playable sequencer of sorts.
@@SCHLAPPIENGINEERING yes that’s what I mean if you’ve got it fully loaded with inputs, but are playing the same rhythm and not modulating the inputs. I just wonder how many different patterns are possible. Roughly speaking.
Schlappi System!
yes!!!
