For static camping I love my heavy cotton hoodies but for hiking, mountain biking or anything active I agree with wool with an outer membrane of some sort.
I luv cold chicken. Especially the grilled bbq chicken my mom made when I was a kid. It was a simple homemade kicked up cheap store bought, but it was pretty good. I like you pizza pockets. I'm going to have to try them. I might add some deli style pepperoni and maybe some canned mushrooms. Some sting cheese cut into small sticks would probably work as well. Thank for sharing.
Cold chicken is where its at! String cheese is definitely one of the options for the stuffing, I will be making them again and adding pepperoni next time. I like the idea of the canned mushrooms, thanks for watching!
@@adventureroamx I was thinking about this today. The options and variations for this recipe are endless. You could use ground chicken, turkey, breakfast sausage. Hamburger??? Stuffed mushroom bacon cheeseburger??. Any kind of sauce or gravy. Gravy, I'd probably add it to a metal bowl or dish. And you can add whatever else you would like.
I recently found at Costco, frozen breaded chicken breast that are fully cooked. Couple of minutes in the microwave and it's ready to eat! I think I'll take some next time I go camping and pan fry them. I prepare them over a bed of rice and teriyaki sauce. Easy and fast. Where's the crowds?
I have had those chicken breasts from Costco, they are quite good, I never have pan fried them but I know they a great in an air fryer. There were campers all around my area but they were nice and quiet which was nice, thanks again for watching!
I love your camping and cooking videos. You also gave some really good safety tips in this one. However, what caught my eye was the slide for your cooler/fridge. From what I could see you replaced your back seat with a platform. Did you screw the slides to the top of the platform?
The sausage pizza pouches look good. Eventually, I'm gonna have to probably get one of those Coleman ovens. Have to "up" my cooking fare, or the grandsons (17 & 15 yrs old) will abandon ship and no longer want to camp. Did I read that gas pump price as $4.19 ?
Yes you read it right, I believe it was like $4.99 for diesel, those pouches were delicious, I will be making those again for sure. That oven really makes a huge difference in the things that can be cooked at camp. Thanks again for watching!
Survival advice and slightly condescending talk about layers from glamping dude with truck to escape to. You're not bushcraft Billy mountain man. Show the fun of what you're doing

Real great job on the video, has all the makings of a much larger channel. Keep up the great work 👍
Big thanks, I really appreciate that, thanks for watching!
The fact that you didn't pile up or bring wood and decide to make a fire says a lot
Thank you and thanks for watching!

Yes, I completely removed the back seat of the truck and added a platform, the fridge slide is bolted down to the platform.
Thanks again for watching!
Happy New Year bud! Mary commented on the getting naked comment? She said, Really Sean? Good stuff, always enjoy your videos. See you in February. 😊
Thanks Mike and Mary, I appreciate you watching, we will see you in February!

Thanks for watching, I was just trying to offer a little cold weather basics that I have found to be helpful.
