What things did I use that no-one has? Considering most people found this helpful I'd assume people have a basic drill, a spanner and can find a piece of scrap metal 🤷♂️
My scooter was misfiring and running rough. Someone suggested it could be the stator which is why I was removing the flywheel. What actually fixed it was correctly setting the trigger gap. In the video just right of the spanner are 2 Philips screws. They hold the trigger near the flywheel. I used a feeler gauge to gap it correctly and it ran fine after that.
Wow, magic , u mean this round plate(magnet) just plugged in on the shaft & locked with locking pin..TkQ v much for the trick I find this the best video
optimistic but realistic ----- pop???? U mean it will get loose???? Do u think it is rusted and tight hence not coming out???? Can I use WD40. Do u think this kind of spray allowed& won't spoil any part .Acutely I am fed up .pse advise pse say how get access if it is rusted where to spray
It may be possible but I wouldn't. The flywheel triggers the spark. If you bend or warp it you may throw off the balance and the trigger magnet may not line up with the sensor etc. Too risky.
I tried prying with a seal puller and would not recommend it. The casing where the muffler mounting bolt had been had already broken off, and I broke a second piece off the housing.
@@matthejl8 haha sorry, just having a laugh. Yes it is a special tool but you don't have to buy it. That description is a bit too long for a video title. There is a special tool that can be bought for this job. This method bypasses the need to buy 'that' special tool. I made mine with a hand drill not a drill press.
4m. Actually it may have been 5 or even 6mm. Sorry was ages ago now but when you asked, 4mm came straight to mind so I'm fairly sure that's what I used.
Yea mate. A lot of force on that. Even with a wrench you need it locked to something solid. I've seen people lock it in to a bolt and bend the bolt. Why do you need to remove the flywheel? My fix turned out to be trigger gap which was the sensor outside of the flywheel. There's not much under there.
@@acgolem I bought a impact driver and took it off like butter. People should buy one if they are going to own a scooter. I had to replace my stator. Successful install by the way.
I'm not sure I understand. You were going to replace your stator anyway and you somehow broke it while removing the flywheel? What was wrong with the stator? Was the battery not charging. My problem turned out to be the gap for the trigger sensor on the outside of the flywheel so I didn't need to remove the flywheel anyway.
Good video. So many people making 45 minute videos on the same thing. Simple and fast.
Mr, I like your attitude! Sorted it for me. You're a gentleman and a scallop!
No special tools uses a thing no one has

Really thanks man. Best idea.🙏✌️
I’ve been trying to find something that’ll work and this seems the best
Thanks bro…. Why this didn’t occur to me before? 🤦♂️it’s sometimes the easier of fixes that are missed looking for the complicated answers haha.
Simple yet effective... Thx
Glad you liked it. I'm trying to get to 1000 subs. It'd really help me out if you could hit the sub button. Thanks.

AWESOME!!!
Good idea
Got it
You made a special tool
how to remove the gold part tho
I saw u r video again, & followed As u said but no luck, u took it out just like that , I don't understand what holding fly wheel on shaft???
I had already removed mine once so it was loose. You need to crank it hard. It will pop

Nice
Any way to do it without flat stock metal ? Like a small pry bar or something?

It's more delicate than you think so pry and hammer crank end with the nut on is not an option.
thankyou
Your method made me got off mines. Subscribe to u for that woowoowoo 😊
Thanks 💪💯
Can u use a 2 jaw puller
It is a special tool...you just made one.
You're a special tool.
@@acgolem thanks bud. I do like the vid though. I just don't have a press to make one.

I dont have a wrench and tried to use a screw driver to keep it from turning. And bent the crap out of my screw driver.

I used a 5mm armor proof steel plate and it bent the f ing plate💀💀💀 the flywheels is still not lose💀
Thanks for the tip I broke my stator that I was gonna replace with this genius idea 🖕

isnt this destroying the stator?
No the flywheel spins around the stator. They're not attached. This is pulling the flywheel straight off. They never make contact.
Yeah no mu spanner bent
