This song is beautiful! I have listened to Sonata Arctica quite a while, but unfortunately I had never heard this whole song until now. Its probably because there was something I disliked abouth the intro... but I'm really glad I took the time to hear the whole song this time!

This song makes me think of Josh Kohn from SOA. Even though that guy was a dick, I hated Jax for shooting him because he was really emotional and sensitive.
This song is a lot less problematic if you pretend animal control took away Tony Kakko's dog, and he has snuck into the shelter and is singing to him outside of his cage.
as unstable as he is, there's some sympathy for him if you listen to all of it. it sounds like she took him for all he's worth and completely used him. even her "oh my god" in this song doesn't sound genuine.
